Oh...and is it just me...or when someone posts something like "US military sniper" does that make you cringe? Uh, all branches have snipers...and usually several different kinds...most likely a fake.

Where was that pic taken? The reason I ask is there is a .50 on the bow.
It was Pier one in Norfolk. I checked the time stamp on the file and it was May of '02 which was shortly before our BALTOPS deployment. I would have loved to go on a second one of those. We went to four ports in less than two months which was more than the three we had during our Iraqi "freedom" deployment.
The boat moved to San Diego in the last year or two though.

Okay...just thought it odd that they had a 50 mounted in home port. Was a west coast squid myself.
Best cruise I did was a Around the world cruise in 99 days.
