Granado Espada


Set in the medieval era, “Granado Espada’’ takes place on a new continent where colonization has just begun. Gamers start by forming their own clans, which can include a maximum of nine different characters. They are “obtained’’ by completing certain quests.

Like other MMORPG (massively multi-player online role-playing game), “Granado Espada’’ also brings thousands of players together in a virtual world simultaneously where they hunt down and destroy monsters in battlefields or fight against each other to earn money and points, which can be used to buy better arms and equipment.



So the basic concept of “Granado Espada’’ is similar to other new MMORPGs like “Zera: the Imperan Intrigue'' and “Soul of the Ultimate Nation,'’ but it has something other games do not.

But as its title means “distinguished sword’’ in English, the game introduces new features of a multi character control (MCC) system. It allows users to play with a team of up to three characters selected from within their clan instead of being restricted to the traditional one character. There are five types of characters to choose from _ fighters, scouts, wizards, warlocks and musketeers­.

Each character has its own set of skills and strengths. For example, fighters are good for battle, skillful at swords and guns. Musketeers are armed with stronger guns, enabling them to shoot enemies from far-off distances. Wizards can be used to cast spells on enemies and help fighters. When their magic is combined with the magic of a warlock, its effects are amplified. Scouts have the ability to heal wounds and restore health. Various combinations of characters can be strategically combined to fight different monsters.

It is also possible to maintain just one character and concentrate on increasing its level of experience and improving its fighting skills. However, if you form a team with different characters, you can fight more efficiently. These teams can also be combined with the teams of other online gamers to build complex guilds used for more complicated missions.



In a Barracks mode, gamers can organize their teams, and in a “Dress Room,’’ they could also create new characters that look distinctly with fancy clothes and accessories.

The quests are somewhat simple, but they are linked to each other. “Granado Espada’’ is an appealing game for those who enjoy a good storyline.

The graphics of “Granado Espada’’ are as advanced as other online games, but gamers might not find them as impressive as the other two new games on the market.

"A Home Far Away" looks a lot like the one game Suikoden. The monsters on the screen shots look different, but the characters and backgrounds look a like. Great post though.

GooGrid - The World's First Massively Multiplayer Online Ecosystem
GooGrid is an online ecosystem where animated critters designed by players crawl from one screen to the next across the internet, fighting, eating plants or each other, and reproducing. New players can make a critter in seconds with the "critter wizard" and the "random beetle" graphics, but the real fun of the game is using "advanced species design" mode and making your own animated custom critter drawings.

Each species you design can have up to 21 animation sequences. Each sequence corresponds to a critter behavior, such as eating, fighting, sleeping, walking, running to attack, or running to escape.

It's alive!
Even when you're offline, your creations can be crawling around on other players' screens. Once you release a species, it has a life of its own. Other players may choose to collect a specimen of your species if they like it. This saves it for later and counts as a vote towards the most popular species list.

Graphics isnt much in this game, but i like the concept, and i think that if you judge gameplay over graphics this could be cool..

Dungeon Door



This is an isometric, top-down dungeon crawl game. It also has fantastic graphics, isn't confusing and plays really well.

The story is, a magical door arrived at The Hero Academy. The Headmaster, while fiddling with knobs, got sucked into the tenth level of some alternate dimension. It's up to a rag-tag bunch of amateur students to roam the scary halls, battle foes and level up along the way in order to save him (and hopefully receive 'extra credit' --ed.)

This game has appealed where other games have not in the past. It tells you clearly when you can end your turn. The characters all look different (and excellent) and where they can travel/attack is clear to be seen. Switching weapons is as simple as one mouse click; not a ten-level deep menu screen.

Perhaps the most interesting thing is that from the outset there seems to be something to do. You're not placed in an empty field and asked to find the story on your own. Without knowing the story beforehand, it's clear to see you have to go from room to room killing things. One of your characters is "healer" - so when another gets poisoned, it's as clear as day what you need to do. There are treasure chests, open them and get stuff.

This game presents all the complexities of similar genre games, but does away with the text screens, long expositions and menus. So much of this is in a non-verbal "Let's see what happens here/Oh, what I expected" way that it's literally very engaging.

Wings of Fury 2 (remake)
Who cant remember the old classic wings of fury? i played it a lot on the Amiga500.
Here is a 3D remake of it takes place in the pacific under WW2. its a side scorlling mixture between action and simulation. where you have to fight japaneese.
