Exactly. Like you stated before, the respect has died long time ago. I remember when n00bs actually took the advice we gave to them. Now they just act like cunts and think they can say whatever they want. Shit that sucks. I don't know what went wrong with it.

And I totally agree with you and MrHolland of course. We shared fantastic times here.

sorry to hear that this forum appears like that for you.

let me still say this; the mods have the right to defend themselves, if somebody starts the flaming or trolling. they are not supposed to start the flaming. i can still understand the anger and frustration from the crew, if even the simplest rules are abused over and over again. then one might seem a bit ruff, like i admit myself being occasionally. it's still nothing personal from my part, and if a member starts to act like a normal person, i have no problems with him/her anymore.

The prob is a noobie, posts something stupid, and gets lambasted for it, over and over again,,,,U may not remember him, but they remember YOU.. and the irritation builds.. Not saying i've seen u do it...

And why does, a mod have to defend himself??? DELETE the post, ban the poster, make them email for an explanation.

Tons of other ways to handle pia's then getting in a pissing match,, so after a page or so of posts.... the mod finally posts a generally very nasty post then locks it, getting the last word in. That crap is in-flammatory

hey dude. pls contact the mod/s in charge of that subforum. they can lock or delete all the failed attempts, and your threads will not be left open for bashing. that's why we are here for.

And it got boring, very boring.
98% threads are about porn, the lounge is almost dead and when it not dead is all about threads like "you prefer mc donalds or burger king?" kind of thinking.

Maybe i am too old now, or too tired but the internet chit chat drives me insanely bored these days

I'm going to be honest here and say that I think this site is great, but I am reluctant to post here often because it often seems like many people here have an "internet tough-guy attitude". I got tired of seeing people jump all over someone else who is a new poster, blatantly running up their post counts and/or just never having anything nice to say. Even a few of the mods have this air of superiority.

I hate when mods start a flame war of a noob who does something against the rules. You think that after a few years of this site being here, that people would understand that there are many out there who are not too bright and will not read the rules--at first. Instead of just bashing them publically, why don't the mods deleted the post and send a brief generic PM to the noob saying why their post was deleted and not to do it again. I get tired of sifting through topic after topic consisting of a dumb post followed by a mod bash, which sets the tone for 18 other people to chime in and add their two-cents of misery. It is a waste of everyone's time, which is why many don't bother to post here.

It seems like 90% of the posts here are done by 15% of the members.

I have to admit that almost all my posts have come from posting semi-pro porn, but I've decided that I'm basically done with all that. When I first signed up less than a year ago there were some pretty decent conversations going even in the babes section. The lounge was pretty dead so I porn'd it up for awhile, but lately I've noticed a lot of threads that get 30,000 views but only ten "Thanks, gimme more" comments. As for the mods flaming noobs I have to defend them and say that I've never seen anything that wasn't appropriate, and I've never been flamed once for any of my posts. Of course I did read the faqs and rules before I posted anything, so I guess that helps. There does appear to be an endless supply of fucktards out there and eventually they all seem to make there way here to bitch about fake boobs, and to call 125 pound girls fat, so flaming is inevitable. For now though I'm gonna stick to the non-babe sections and attempt to start something there, I'm not done with WBW yet.

I would like to add my 2 cents to all of the people that don't post because they are afraid of getting bashed, for i to was one of them not to long ago...

It took me a long time to post my first thread because of some of the same reasons people have already given, afraid of getting bashed, flamed, or nobody caring that you posted something at all.

Then one day i came to the realization that, hey i'm pretty much anonymous here, i'm behind a keyboard and a monitor and nobody has a clue who i am.

I still don't start to many threads myself, i,m not really a good idea person, but i do try to participate in a lot of the threads going on around here, i say whats on my mind weather people like my opinions or not i really don't care, after all if i don't like the feedback from it i turn off the computer and come back later.

One more thing to remember also to the guys afraid to post, ask the mods for advice, when i first started here i drove Latino crazy with all of my questions, but he was always a gentlemen and answered each and every one of them and he did it with a genuine willingness to help, and for that i would like to publicly thank him

I used to be on here a lot, but now I'm no longer a demigod.

I would say its more like 80%/20%

Things come and things go. WBW has high points and lower points just like anything else in life.
We are over analyzing this. It is a slow period. Not the first, won't be the last.
If you don't like it, why not get creative and start a thread you think will generate some interest? That would be a step in the right direction, if in fact you really give a shit.
