Below average? You know, I see a lot of chicks which I don't find are all that hot - to me - but I have to acknowledge they're beautiful girls. The girl in that picture is gorgeous. She's got the kind of face that turns heads and opens eyes wherever she goes. How you could vote a 1 to that is simply beyond me. As for tits n ass, sure, I'd love to see her naked too. But that pic is a great shot of a beautiful girl. And I was always more a fan of Playboy, with its varying pictures of girls from fully clothed, to lingerie, to naked, than of Hustler, which specialized in close-up crotch shots with pussy lips spread wide. Maybe because I like girls as opposed to just bodies.

Is it really that hard to undersand that everyone has different tastes in women? Someitmes I see pics of a girl that I find rediculously hot but they're only rated 6 or so. No biggie, I'll add it to my faves and that's that. I see high rated pics that I don't find appealing at all. That's my opinion though. Apparently there's a large enough goup of people here that disagree w/my opinion and vote higher than I would, thus giving a girl that IMO is only a 5 or 6 a rating of 7 or 8. I don't see what the issue is here.

I think I've made a massive point, if you actually tried to think (wait, I smell burning rubber) you'd probably realise that they're aren't many <5 rated pictures on this site, in anyone's view.

Once again, I will offer up my personal ratings guide below as a suggestion. Even if you disagree, you at least know how I vote. Generally I agree that many babes get underrated due to the rogue "1 voters." For some reason, beach babes seem to be the most frequent victims - maybe we have some sand-phobic members.

Trying to police it is a waste of time. In fact, the more attention they get in threads like this, the more likely they are to continue. Eventually they should get bored and move on to annoy members at another site. So let's all just agree that some people are jerks and ignoring them is the most powerful way to send them that message.

My scale is something like this:

10 - Stunningly beautiful. Could go for years without ever seeing someone this good looking in person in real life.
9 - Gorgeous. Like the most beautiful women you might actually see in person, rarely but every so often.
8 - Beautiful. A girl like this would always turn your head and maybe elicit an exclamation (even if silently because you are with your girlfriend)
7 - Pretty. Way better than most females you might encounter.
6 - Nice looking. Better than the average woman you see.
5 - Average. About the same as the typical girl you see in the mall.
4 - Half Decent. Below average, but you would not be put off if you saw a woman like this for real.
3 - Ugly. No redeeming physical qualities, and you might look the other way if you saw her in person.
2 - Nasty. Offensive or off-putting in some way that would make you walk the other way if in her presence.
1 - Repulsive. Gross, disgusting and totally without redeeming quality to the point you might get sick if you saw her in person.

In addition to these base ratings, I add or subtract points for things I do like or don't like, such as body type, tattoos, piercings, make up, outfits, smoking, poses, etc. (No, I won't say which is which.) Sometimes I upgrade a score when there is something charming or alluring that just appeals to me, or downgrade when I get a bad vibe.

Okay, yer not getting the point. The point isn't to desparage people for having stricter or looser ratings guidelines. It's that some people, ie, you, rate people's pictures "1" out of spite.

As for how I rate. For the most part, I don't. I usually only rate a picture if it's superior, or really inferior. To my mind, almost no pictures rate 10. For that matter, I think only a dozen have rated a 9 in all the time I've been viewing pictures here. If I think a picture is really good I'll rate it an 8. But most pictures posted are 7s and 6s and so I usually don't bother. I rarely ever rate a picture below that. I think of it as insulting the girls in question to rate them a four or a three so I virtually never do so.

You clearly have no difficulty insulting people, of course.

I believe the average ratings thing is for the pics we upload, not the ratings we give.

This has continued to be an ongoing issue and I would have to say it has gotten worse as my tenure here at WBW has gotten longer. It also seems that topics/discussions such as this seems to bring those who vote 1 out of the woodwork.

I have noticed that scores in my uploads are higher in the sponsor sections is much higher than in the others.

I know that it is not a pleasant thing but unfortunately it is just something that occurs and not much can be done about it.

Uh... A scale of 1-10 would put the "average" at around 5.5 - meaning thank you for pointing out that I'm the most consistent and fair rater in this thread.

HighGuy is right. The average rating is the score for the pics we have uploaded, not what we rate.

Even if that were the case however, and even if I did rate low (which I don't - I'm the closest to where a fair system would land if that were my actual rating average for pics I rated as opposed to what I uploaded), I could simply point out that I don't think a close-up shot of a sphincter is all that hot.
