Picture Ratings and the Jerks

The "jerks" as you call them can continue to manipulate the system no matter what we do. Start cracking down on 1 votes? They vote 2's instead. Start cracking down on people who constantly vote the same number? They start randomly clicking any number. Start limiting the amount of votes? You punish the people who enjoy voting (and yes there are a lot of members who vote because they like to and go through the gallery's giving real votes and sometimes vote on hundreds of pics a day).

Honestly, the only way I could see an adjustment working would be if we made the system exclude all 1's and 10's when coming up with the average number and to not tell the members we did this. That way the 1 and 10 voters think their votes are counting but in reality only votes 2 through 9 would actually be used to come up with the average. Still though people would complain that the votes aren't averaging right when they see a pic with a ton of 10's that doesn't have a high average.

You can't make everyone happy so the only right answer is to go with what's fair and what's fair is a voting system where people can vote how they please with an average at the end and that's exactly what we already have.

Here's an idea: who cares what others think! To each his/her own. A low/medium/high score does not change the picture/video, nor does it remove it from the site. It's just an arbitrary number. One of the great things about this site is that (almost) anything goes and the rules are pretty much relaxed.

Just enjoy the pics and move on.

@tireeyes: We're not a porn site maybe if we were your argument would make sense. We're a forum and a community for men's entertainment and appreciation of amateur ladies. We have everything from cars to full on hardcore stuff. A little something for everyone. In my opinion and many others opinions some of the most beautiful women on this site are fully clothed because generally the hottest women have enough self respect to not ever pose nude.

Just lol @ that statement J-Swiss, c'mon kid, let's not start getting pretentious, a minuscule proportion of the membership do anything on this site other than look at hot chicks in varying states of undress, a simple look at the "other" sections and their infrequent use shows that fact conclusively.

Our site being mostly pics with "varying states of dress" does not equal porn. Obviously enough members enjoy the clothed pics for them to make it into the top babes consistently and for you to feel the need to bitch about it.

Nobody's being pretentious but this simply isn't a "porn site" by any definition. A porn site supplies strictly porn and nothing else. Even if you don't count our forums at all our gallery's alone don't qualify us as a porn site because of the vast amount of non-nude content. At the very worst we're an "amateur pic site" which still isn't a "porn site".

Save your bullshit made up statistics and you're attempt to talk down to me by calling me a "kid".

That's odd, since I've only ever engaged you via PM a few times, and every time (2/04/10, 2/19/10 & 3/09/10) I've made every effort to be quite amicable. And I certainly have never resorted to ad hominem attacks, as you have done here, for something you've said.


It's best you let this issue go. Nothing is going to be done about it; it's been happening for the better part of the 7 years the site has been in existence won't be stopping any time soon, so getting upset over some people who vote 1 is in no way productive. You've already admitted it's a minor issue, so I'd suggest treating it as such.


Enjoy the pictures for what they are, vote however you wish, and let others do the same.

I think the issue is pretty much settled and people are now resorting to making ignorant statements for no reason other than to be argumentative and to provoke others. Time for a good ol'...

Lets just look at these stats then

"Nude Babes" forum section has more topics than the entire rest of the forum put together (excluding BABES) but it's not a porn site, just lol.

Does the phrase "let it go" mean anything?

And, like most members here, you've paid NOTHING for the privilege of being here. So, if you're not happy, you've made ZERO financial investment in the site and probably have gleaned tremendous benefit AT NO COST TO YOU. Well, other then your very valuable, time, and energy.

Thank you for your opinion(s) on how we can make the site better. They've obviously been duly noted by the "crew", and the crew has obviously decided that that they're not taking any action.

For people that don't care to take the time to rate each pic on a "scale" of that nature, it's either a good pic or a bad pic.

I suppose it depends on what you use ratings for. Personally I don't know what value they have. I save a picture when I like it. I don't think I've ever rated a pic a 1. If it's that horrible I just don't rate it. But I too find it bizarre that anyone can rate a gorgeous girl a 1. Yes, beauty is subjective - but not THAT subjective. A girl might not do anything for me but I can still acknowledge she's got all the parts in the right place and looks pretty. Why 10% of voters would bother to vote 1 on a pretty girl is beyond me. Kids? Jealous fat girls? Dunno.

I look at their beauty, body, pose and category they are in to cast my vote. I look at the picture and think...would I do her if I was sober...nothing less than a 7, If I would do them after a few beers...5-7 and if they are fat, ugly or just nasty, 3-5 or just don't vote. I'm sure there are immature guys and gals on here that give 1st to the hottest chicks and give 10's to the nastiest of the nasty. What can you do about it...? Just my 5 cents worth

Yeah, that's why I come on here: not for the naked girls, but for the statistically accurate ratings if those naked girls.

A girls made-up face and well below average for the internet, just sheesh, if this picture was sitting in the top 5 with a rating of 8+ I'd feel honour bound to restore some clarity to the situation and vote a 1 to bring her mark down, I'd be embarrassed to say I was a member of a porn site that rated such a poor quality image so highly, it's just naive, I've been around the internet and seen some porn (believe me) there's just no way on gods earth she is more than a 4 and for you to think she rates in the same bracket as some of the quality on here is just newbie naiveness imo.

Personally, I can't see rating a girl a 3 who would reduce you to a stuttering, drooling moron if she ever talked to you in public. Okay, all you want are tits and ass. I can see that. I just don't see that as a legitimate rating system unless you're looking at a gyncology monthly type site.
