Funny Republican Speaker of the House Boehner said he wouldn't want to be President. That he enjoyed his lifestyle too much ie drinking red wine etc

None of us know what tomorrow might bring. Things could change between now and 2016. I'm also not speaking about who I want as President of the United States, or about who should be President of the United States.
But if the election were held today, Hillary Clinton would win in one of the biggest landslides in the history of the free world.
The only Republican that even came close to her in polling was Christie, who was within a virtual tie against her in polling until Bridgegate. Now he has fallen over 20 points behind her, and he hasn't even been caught red-handed on anything yet.
Beyond that, even under the best of circumstances Christie wouldn't have been supported by the hard core of the GOP - which composes about 50% of their numbers. He'd have had one Hell of a time getting out the vote.
Even so, he was in a virtual tie with Clinton, but he had been actively and heavily campaigning pretty much constantly since 2012, while Clinton hasn't been heard from in over a year. As soon as she started to campaign he'd be in deep shit.
There are a ton of reasons Christie wouldn't have been able to beat Clinton - and now that he'll be lucky to keep his current job, that just puts an even bigger gap between Clinton and the competition.
Christie was the only Republican that was even remotely close to Clinton - and he's done.
If the election were held today, it'd be one hell of a landslide.
But hey, who knows what tomorrow brings?
