Yeah, the one you were asking EL about?

I figured it wasn't the lesbian....what's her number btw? - kidding.
#4472407
Haha...I'd give it to you, but I never actually got around to asking for it... I hope the girl I'm going to ask out is single. I never see her talking to any guys or anyone else. She just works at school, making student id's for everyone. She always smiles brightly whenever we see each other in passing. Hope that's a good sign.
#4472408
I'd say it's a good sign. You're gonna ask he wednesday?
#4472409
Well, I only see her on Tuesdays and Thursdays. So I'm going to ask on Thurs. Why? Is asking then not a good time? I'm just a little anxious...haha
#4472410
I think it's probably fine. It's after valentines day, so you should be good.
#4472411
No pressure...I know you're relativly new at this...but we may have to start a new spam thread tonight. Start thinking of a name. Lol
#4472412
I keep thinking after VDay might be a mistake, though. I don't want her to start thinking I forgot about Valentine's Day; especially, I don't want her to think I just didn't want to treat her to a special day, you know?
#4472413
Yeah I hear ya...but what's a better day? 2 days after...3? Or the following week? A few days before VD wouldn't have been good either.
#4472414
Um..."Spam..because you love it!"
#4472415
Woah...I see you're point and realized I dodged a bad thing! You're right, it's better to wait. Three days after can't be so bad.
#4472416
I think Wednesday or Thursday is probably the best day. Although I also think Tuesday likely will be fine too. If doubt she'll think that you were trying to avoid taking her out for Vday.
#4472417
Now see...Tuesday poses I bit of a problem, because she knows I could have asked her out last week. For whatever reason, I forgot to and didn't. That's the part where I'm an (insert a word for jackass here).

I'm currently experiencing an acceleration of 9.8 m/s^2.

Also, Darkwingduck, waiting until after Vday is the right move. Starting relationships right then is awkward and just not worth the hassle. Wednesday/Thursday/Friday is all ok, but before-hand is just not a move I would recommend. As far as the smile, smiles are usually good signs.

Unless they're like this:

Lol. I'm happy to say they aren't like that. By the way, that physics problem seems so familiar.. Anyway, thanks man. Thursday then.

I disagree. I think she'll be ok with not being asked out just prior to Valentines day. I think Valentines day is more for established couples. Being asked out a day or two before VD I feel, is kinda creepy.

Meh, I wish that were the extent of my physics problems.

Try this on for size: (and this is a relatively easy one)

An astronaut on the Moon wishes to measure the local value of the free-fall acceleration by timing pulses traveling down a wire that has an object of large mass suspended from it. Assume that a wire has a mass of 4.0 g and a length of 1.6 m and that a 3 kg object is suspended from it. A pulse requires 36.1 ms to traverse the length of the wire. Calculate the acceleration due to the gravity of the moon (g) from these data.

This.

Listen to this girl. She knows a thing or two about getting in a girl's panties.
#4472423
Makes sense that it would be creepy. It's like a dude just really wanted sex but couldn't get it. So he asks like a day before Valentines day, in hopes that he's fortunate. But yeah...I get ya.

Ohhhhhhh.....I know this one!!!!!

Who cares? Rock on a string on the moon? What practical application does this have?
#4472425
Wouldn't you I need to know the gravity of the mood, as like a constant? I'm no good with math! I barely passed that class...
