What is your opinion of your nation's military?

i completley agree there needs to be more people like him... to many are quick to judge but where would this nation or any nation be if those brave men and women had not done and continue to do what they do to this day ...

and i myself in small turn do this.. a friend of mine got back from iraq not to long ago.. i met him today as a matter of fact.. just to catch up on old times.. and he went to pay and i payed for his lunch and did as the afore person did i thanked him for all he has done... we owe so much to them the least we can do is somthing like that

I think my country's military could use some reforming... I'm in the US Army at this time and am still debating if I want to stay in. Due to a lot of the criticism the military gets it's hard to keep people in the army... so we lower the standards to keep the people we have. Because of this we have some people that are not working beside me, for what I fell are, the right reasons. Overall I feel that the "ideas" behind my Army are good, they just need to be enforced a little more. I love the military, it's a thing of pride to put my BDU's/ACU's on everyday and serve my country... but when you are in a leadership position and those you are leading don't want anything but the college money it gets frustrating
