Here is a powerful and amazing statement on Al Jazeera television.The woman is Wafa Sultan, an Arab-American psychologist from Los Angeles. I would suggest watching it ASAP because I don't know how long the link will be active. It is extremely surprising that the Arab financed TV station in Dubai would allow this to air. Be sure and watch this, It is so powerful I have no doubt she now has very large price on her head. I also have no doubt it won't be on the net very long. She is one impressive woman.

One has to respect her courage as well as her intellect...And her words bring out the inescapable: Radical Islam cannot be simply 'defeated' by the West in any sort of conventional means. Theirs is an ideology born of a millenia of hate, resentment, and cultural isolation and stagnation.
What, indeed, have the radical Islamists contributed to the advancement of humankind on a global scale? They wish to turn back the clock a thousand years, curtail all cultural, scientific and industrial advancement (save the ones that serve their always-violent motives and agendas), keep females in the role of cattle, and use children as weapons.
If it weren't so dangerous, one could view it as very sad, but this is a serious threat to every free-thinking human's very existance.

Keep in mind its the "brotherhood of islam" mindset that drives them,this means that ALL of the world must come under the umbrella of islamic rule & law,which translates roughly into the sad fact that they want to dominate all of the worlds peoples.I don"t think there is a happy medium that we can come to agree on,& when the cry for global jihad is sent forth from all the worldwide mosques,ALL muslims must answer it.Western people are called "kuffaar",i think it means the unworthy,or some such non-sense.The so-called liberal & moderate muslims will be sidelined by the "truly faithful" ones.

What you are talking about here is not Islam at all, it's religious fundametalism in general. One cannot tar the entire religion just because a minority (and it is a minority) take things to extremes.
I mean you just have to look at the things that Christian followers have done over the last 2000 years to see this, we don't go around saying 'all Christians are crusaders' do we?... ... ...
