Grunching:

1 - He can be replaced, but his persona will be hard to replace. He's popular in that misogynist role because it's totally believable. So they could go on without him, but it would be a little different, I guess.

2 - I heard Rob Lowe is being approached by CBS

3 - I don't know enough about how much that show makes or anything. The could probably still makes some solid money by dragging it out a few more seasons with a replacement character...but I don't know if paying the rest of the crew the same money they are now would make it worth it for them, since the production costs are now pretty high for what would be a revamped show.

4. - No, I truly believe that Charlie Sheen has gone batshit crazy, and believes himself to have Adonis DNA.


5. - It's kind of entertaining to watch people go completely batshit insane, and start saying things that don't even make sense. WINNING.

This show is done. I have a friend who works on the show, and he told me their is too much collateral damage now to go back the way it was.

I think maybe David Decoveny? from Californication could do it. That is a pretty close character.

However, I think this whole meltdown/fiasco/drama that is going on right now is entertaining as hell. But Honey, it does feature a psychological disorder...Charlie. In fact on the show he has sessions with an analyst played by the bitchy cheerleader coach on Glee. (a show that I don't watch but my wife does). The sessions are very funny.
