I don't understand why everyone likes him so much. Besides Major League, Hot Shots, and the Bueller sister's boyfriend ... what else has he done for movies? (yes, I realize I could IMDB him, but the point is ... he's not that memorable as an actor)

He's kind of like Alic Baldwin, another guy that everyone seems to like now that he is on some lame TV show. This guy has never made a good movie either, and was always like the 4th supporting actor. Although, I have to admit he was funny as the Shwetty Balls dude, and Adam Sandler's boy scout leader ... but that's it.

Charlie makes the show, without him there is no chance for the show to return......
I can see it now running through the script wirters heads...."Charlie left the house in the middle of the night to get drunk and chase hookers from his phone, looses control of his car and dies in a firey car crash....closed casket services" THE END. Then its straight to the re-runs for more money.....yea Hollywood

I've never seen it ... but I'll give you that one since it is pretty popular movie. However, I wouldn't be surprised if the movie was good, but he did a mediocre job of portraying his character.

Just don't get the 1987 version (the one Charlie was in) mixed up with the movie "wall Street" that came out in 2010

IMO though, Charlie did an excellent job portraying his character in that movie...

I'll have to take your word for it. I'm not a fan of Oliver Stone (well, I do like the soundtrack to Natural Born Killers, if that counts), so I don't plan on seeing either of them.

Lol, yes ... you're entitled to enjoy Charlie Sheen. Who am I to judge. It's all personal preference anyway.

Sheen is manic or psychotic. Even if he wanted to finish the rest of the season he probably could not.

...so I haven't read any of the other comments but I have my opinions.

I've always hated that show. Charlie Sheen is the exact same person as the character he plays - an arrogant asshole who thinks he's God's gift to Earth. He's not. He's a addict who has fucked up his entire life and it's about time he gets put in his place. I'm sick of hearing about him. He's a train wreck.

and as for the show, I could care less. I've seen a few episodes and it's a pretty crappy show so if other people want to waste their time watching it, sure go ahead, replace him.

I agree, I don't watch the show...ever. (you know me, if the show doesn't feature some sort of phycological disorder, I'm generally not interested). However, I think this whole meltdown/fiasco/drama that is going on right now is entertaining as hell. He is a raving lunatic at times, and I love watching a good ole fashioned public self destruction. Good times!

And I really don't think Charlie is having a meltdown, I just think something or someone pissed him of to the point he's finally sick of the bull and he's taking a stand... But hell, who really knows, he may not know

The show's been on for a while, and is not near as funny as it was, so it may be time for it to end anyhow.
