I'm a little late...they've been on for 20 minutes already.

But right now James Bond and the Queen just jumped from a helicoper above olympic stadium.

Ok...apparently that was just for show. It really wasn't the Queen, but she did just enter the stadium.

She kinda looks pissed to be there.

Earlier there was a really cool act where they kinda reinacted bits from the industrial revolution and forged the Olympic rings from molten steel.

If i was the Queen, i would have jumped.




Also, Olympics live bogging - FTW.

Now there are children singing God Save The Queen. They said to stand....I didn't

Update....the Queen still looks pissed.

Celebrating some hospital...I was't really paying attention....however there is a giant bed like thing thats really a tampoline. Thats cool

What would the Queen have to be pissed about, other than being old..... she gets to wear that sweet crown all the time. If you or I wore it we would just look like douchebags.

I prefer my tiara...the crown is a little too douchy you're right.

Wizard of Oz, Peter Pan, Mary Poppins, Harry Potter....they are all being acted out.

About 150 beds on stage with kids in them...having bedtime stories read to them. Their blankets light up. Very cool visually.

I wish i was able to watch it with you at the moment SP. I'll have to catch the opening ceremonies on a video replay of it all. Sounds like they did a good job with it so far.
