Freebird by Lynyrd Skynyrd is AWESOME! seriously, its like a 2 1/2 minute solo....
Also pretty much any GnR song where Slash has a solo
And Money For Nothing by Dire Straits had a great guitar riff at the beginning
Not to mention many Iron Maiden songs, i.e The Trooper....

Sweet child of mine has an awesome solo blows me away every time hear it. I also love Kirk Hammets solo's from Kill'em All. Heaps of fast runs and patterns without being drenched in wah like some of his later stuff.

That song has excellent use of dual guitarists. Some other Maiden song with good solos are Hallowed Be Thy Name, the live version of Fear Of The Dark, Rime Of The Ancient Mariner, and Powerslave.

the intro to thunder struck isnt a solo but its good in its simplicity....

Cliff Burton also has some pretty sick bass solos if you go look them up online i think i have a few on my comp but i dont have ne clue how you would get them onto the forum
