there isnt enough fighting in soccer for americans....

at least not on the field....

american men need more overtly masculine displays of power

come to europa, there is fighting.. on field, beside field.. but i`m not sure you sissys would could take part..

Oh yes, when I hear "soccer" and "fighting" I immediately remember one guy : Eric Cantona.... that was really fun
Does anybody remember when he jumped feet first on a guy behind a barrier?

hell yeah!! our rugby guys dont wear any body armour or head protection...just there strength and muscles, they play the WHOLE game, not play defense or offence ONLY.. much more demanding on the body.

why dont they gop play in the US for more money? cause they love their sport, and want to play ALL the time, not be on the bench half the time.

and on topic, i still believe if the interest was there....and the commercial support was there...the US would have a kickass team they have the population and the resources to do it..

MAYBE the dumbest post ever on WBW....just keep rereading it...JUST BECAUSE WE DON'T LIKE SOCCER, DOESN'T MEAN WE DON'T KNOW THE FEELING OF SUPPORTING A SPORTS TEAM...We pack 77,000 into the Razor for the Patriots...isn't the University of Texas 120,000...so yea us Americans don't understand a 65,000 person crowd...what a stupid idiotic thing to say

i don't truly understand why your such an American bashing idiot?
as for having feelings of team support, i go to my local church (stadium) and pray in unison to the football gods with my fellow comrads every saturday and sunday in the fall
i do believe the smallest stadium in the NFL still has like 60,000 seats, and we don't even need to compare stadium sizes with COLLEGE FOOTBALL STADIUMS!
i go to alot of Ohio State football games and we are always sold out to capacity of 106,000 people EVERY SATURDAY!

I go to a race every year with about (the public doesn't know how many people are there) 250,000-400,000 people in attendance. So beat that! Granted they rooting for 33 different competitors so its not much the same as having 50k fans on your side.
