"Where's the beer???" I thought the Air Force's battle cry was "Let's wait until the end". I do appreciate what the Marines, Navy, and Air Force does for us. Hell they protect my back while I'm out shooting the scuds out of the sky. I just wish that everybody who is overseas especially my brother will get back in one piece. It has been a long enough war for us all and it has taken more casualities both on the stateside and overseas.

I joined a little after 9/11 and if it wasn't for the Marines, Air Force, Army, Navy, and all military branches the United States wouldn't be the way it is today.

Hit it on the head to. We have a lot of people commited to operations on foriegn soils. Their working together to get the job done ensures mission accomplishment. I wish my fellow service members regardless of if they are Marine Green or not the best of luck and god speed. Congtas on a job well done. And thak everyone for their support it's refreshing from the protestors I saw on the street on christmas day. You guys rock.

Quick story here about the protestor types. Got a Socialist DNC type that hangs out with a group I'm with. Every now and then one of the "Been there, done that, got the T-shirt and going back to finish the job." soldier, fly boy, Mo-rine and sailor comes in and talks about the reality of being there. Well to say the least the Socialist gets quiet. Not out of respect but out of no facts to argue. Man that is Heaven to our ears.

To all of you who serve, keep up the good work. One day all of us will be glad you did the job right.

Thank you. It is hard not to smack the protestors but we all have to remember our disapline. It might not be the US who will remember but I think that another country will remember us for quite a few years afterwards.

Believe me, there are times when we want to smack Uncle Joe (between the haircut and moustache he looks like Stalin, I should get a picture) but we also have great restraint. Something called laws and belief in the Constitution. However there are some who walk in and spew crap and lies. Not good, but they can to a point, right up to the local Marine stepping up. Two tours Afghanistan and up next to Iraq. Another good one is the Blackhawk pilot, Iraq and Katrina. And the USAF ELINT analyst. See those dots. Now say goodbye as the Mud Hens move mud. What fun. Just wish that more people would listen to what you guys do for us and others.

What do you mean "no battlecry"?
When I was in the Airforce, it was "WHERE'S THE BEER!?"

Seriously though,
@USMCPM7
Thanks for your service and for standing in the breach.
Thanks to all of our Army, Navy, Airforce and Marine men and women especially at this time of year who are half way around the world doing their part for self determination for all (been there, done that, got the T-shirt).
THANKS GUYS!

I love my job and if medical means I'm pushed to 5801 MP I am still and will aways be Force Recon and I am waiting until I get to go back to my brothers and in the mean time SEMPER FI to all and to all GOD BLESS

@ USMCMP7--I came home from Roanoke VA today. Been up there visiting family. I passed several 18wheelers loaded down with brand new HUMVEES..killer machines. Really awesome.

It made me think of the time I almost grew balls and enlisted into the marines. Wish I had of but my father wouldn't let me. He was in the navy for 18 years and said it was a waist of family time and time with kids. I still wish I would have.

Anyways, thanks for what you do and what you are doing. Im really proud. Great job bro.

Welcome Home USMCMP7, Former Navy here, Most of the opinions I hear about the military today are poaitive. Most people I know who have negative remarks either don't like the Bush administration or your average crackpots who can't seperate the issues. Again welcome home and I hope you have a Happy New Year.

Sorry, but I am gonna be a jerk. I too am a Marine, no longer active duty, and any and everyone I have known that has been over seas and had bullets fly in their direction, or held someone as the took there last breath or console someone who is missing limbs and the list goes on, but anyone that has been on the front lines does not give a $hit what anyone thinks. Personaly, I don't tell anyone except my closest friends that I was even there, just cause I dont care for the bullshit sympathy. If you are a true killer, cause thats what you have to be, you do what you are told and thats it. Yes, I know a Marine, is a Marine, is a Marine. But sometimes boots and poges especially boot pgoes piss me off. And I dont know if you are or not one of those you just came off that way to me USMCMP7.
Anyways funk it

Thanks USMCMP7 for your service. I am totally in support of the troops. You guys are doing a great thing helping those people be free. Having said that, I just wish ol' Dubya would have known what was going on and have a real reason before he started this war. Many young men and women have died for a cause that took him a little while to come up with. But, we're there now and those people DO need to be liberated, so I wish you guys all the luck in the world. Thank you USMCMP7 and thanx to your fellow servicemen for the great job you have done. The fallen heros will never be forgotten. Keep up the fight and be careful!!

Its got nothing to do with politics really. USMCMP7 you are just carrying out your job. You were not part of the political decision making.

You and your comrades deserve the full respect of the nation and the world. Without people like you including all the armed forces around the world (I'm from Australia), we all wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing that we are safe.

I'm amazed that time and time again courageous people step up for a job that the average joe would be scared crapless to do. Well done and I wish you a safe return from wherever you are stationed to your family and friends who no doubt miss you a lot. We are all wishing for an end to the war in Iraq no matter what nationality we are.
