Really? On a keyboard I type something like 80-90 words per minute. I might be at like 1/10th of that on my iPad. It's great for browsing and reading and random interenetting, but typing is almost unbearable for me.

Yep, same here. I found the ipad to be next to impossible for my business travel requirements which are 90% keyboard work on spreadsheets etc., but what great fun for websurfing and e book reading it is! Laptop/notebook is clearly the way to go for me.

Phone is Blackberry for pretty much the same reasons as above, but with the much greater security of the Blackberry server system.
