@Bust, how did you end up for mushrooms? I cleared 32 pounds here in Minnesota. I gave a couple of pounds away, dried five, ate five and sold the other twenty pounds to a restaurant called the bachelor farmer. They bought at 25$ a pound. Which is awesome. It was a killer season. My biggest find was twelve inches long and weighed 6.4oz. The pic is from a tree that produced ten pounds. It took me only an hour to pick them.

Nothing. Spring set in too early here. I know some people that found some early, and a few guys that managed to hit some luck, but I have three hotspots I check easily, before looking anywhere else. Not a single morel in any of them. First year that I've totally blanked.

Everything is totally screwed here this year. No maple sap run. Almost no morels. Morel season here is usually withing a week of May 1. By the first of May our ground cover was already almost 2' high. May Apples are fully opened and tall. You could be standing directly over a 6" shroom and never see it if you didn't part the ground cover.

Don't you have any morels at all?
