(I'm registering for classes soon to continue my education) 1st on the list is typing
Just comin here improved my typing skills ten fold. I can now type somethin like 80+ words a minute with very limited mistakes. I found this out when the last company I was at was hiring a secretary and they were having all the applicants take a typing test with some program they downloaded and so I gave it a shot. I could out type all the damn secretaries that applied.
Thank you WBW!

Congrats on your typing, now you just need to figure out when to touch the "a" key instead of the "e"

Man, Point Lookout (Fallout 3 DLC) is massive. I’d say the new map is like a 1/4th the size of the actual game’s.

whhhhhhhhhhhhhhat?!
So, if you were going to start off buying two DLCs...you would go with Broken Steel and Point Lookout?

No, I’d start with the Game of the Year Edition.

It's like if I went to the store to buy a cake..
..and I'm staring at two identical cakes, except one has extra frosting, and for that extra frosting..it costs twice as much.
But the core of the delicious cake remains the same...
All that aside...it was forty dollars more brah.....forty!
Plus, I was actually looking to pick up my first DLC..and I was asking your opinion...

The price of all the DLC will put you way past the cost of the GoTY edition. I would suggest starting with Operation Anchorage and following the releases. They progressively get harder and require higher levels. I’m at like 25, and I got killed twice in a battle with Ghoul Reavers and they are all over Point Lookout.

Holy shit...What difficulty do you play on?
I usually play medium.
Yeah, in retrospect you were 100% right dude...I never meant to say you weren't, it's just at the time I was like "I can probably just snag the DLC for $10 like COD".....it was my bad, it just at the time I thought I was making a brilliant move. I almost highfived myself in EB games.

I’m playing on medium. I always play on the developers default because that is how they designed it to be played. Enemies in the expansion packs scale with your level. I mean many of the enemies can easily take three-to-four shotgun blasts to the face and keep coming at you. And, I am talking about a Combat Shotgun with 78 damage. The Ghoul Reavers in Point Lookout are insanely overpowered; they take about six to seven blasts to drop at mid-range, close range about four to five. Unfortunately they like to hang back for a bit and soften you up with their fast projectiles then run at you. Even the Incinerator the fireball massacre machine of Broken Steel doesn’t slow them down.

Fuck, that sounds like fun...I find a lot of the enemies at the moment are a little underpowered.
So, as far as armor and weapons, how kickass are the DLC packs for that?

Certain weapons are just play awesome, others are alright.
I think the most notable ones so far (I haven’t finished Point Lookout or Mothership Zeta) is the Auto Axe, Gauss Rifle, and Incinerator are fun and awesome. They destroy everything in the Wasteland, but are less effective in the DLC packs.
