Yeah, being blind, playing video games on dial up would really suck!

My favourite commercial is the DQ commercial with old time shaving bunnies
#4563972
I haven't seen that one either...is it becoming obvious that I don't watch a lot of tv?

Yeah, you don't watch enough TV, you really should work on that

So this guy does pranks, one of which is walking around with a fart-noise maker.

He takes his fart-maker and wanders around public places, and videotapes the reactions. Well, sometimes people don't find farts very funny. This old guy in a scooter takes offense to pranky guy's "farting" in his wife's face, and gets up out of his mobility scooter and proceeds to punch the dude in the face, multiple times.

(Commentary included for people on dialup who can't watch youtube videos )

Just proves, farting is funny, and mobility scooters aren't just for people who can't walk, they are for lazy ass fuckers also

Social commentary time:

Every time I go to the US I'm amazed that at every grocery story, walmart, target, home depot...whatever, there are always those mobility scooters at the front door for anyone who wants to use one. I guess they're supposed to be there for handicapped people, which is great, but it seems that even people who can actually walk use them. In Canada I can't think of a store that has them...if you're handicapped you bring your own method of transportation to get around the store.

Also...apparently old people who fake that they're handicapped can't take a joke.

Yes indeed. If they can walk to those carts then perhaps they don't really need one. I know a few folks who cannot and they don't go to stores
for that reason.

Easy there my young peers.

My brothers and I have taken care of two invalid parents and there are a lot of inconsistencies in the rules that from the outside, appear to be criminal. E.G. our car had a handicapped license even though neither of our parents could drive a car. The idea was that we could load/unload them with the least amount of effort for them. The nastiness of the public has no limits. The stupid public could hardly put the logic together

Can't begin to tell you how often some selfrighteous person my own age thought we were cheating when we used the handicapped zone when picking up our parents. Or when my mother would rise from her wheel chair ( some ass hole would always say "fake " not knowing she was incapable of anything more )to reach for something on the shelf before she collapsed from the excercise/effort.The reaction was positively nasty. Always from healthy young people. I was ashamed.

Somehow we never got snide remarks from the older, and according to Honda, "terrible" people. So temper those comments. We will all get old. Taking shit from our generation makes it no easier.

So, tell me Honda, how old are you and how old are your parents ? I'd like to hear some stories from you on how you handled their age related issues.

Old people aren't terrible, it's the people who take advantage of the way we try to help them. (mobility scooters)

Unless you are talking about being stuck behind one driving 25 in a 50 zone and your late for work. In that case I agree.

Genuine medical handicaps aside, the stores are craving business and so they park those little scooters out front so that the fat and the lazy can use them....as well as the genuinely handicapped. Commerce is commerce, no ? Think of those things as modern retail appliances.

There are no rules on the usage of those things.

Confession - I have just used a politically incorrect term. There is no such thing as handicapped, it is now disabled. Shees !!!

Selling those things must be really big business ! I was stuck at home today with a cold ( in July ???) and the TV had lots of ads for them.

Where do you live where you are driving on the sidewalk ?? ....but please explain.

Super idea! You need a job, I need more business. Let's make some Hot-Rod golf carts for the old folks. What say you?
