1. The Nazi swastika.
Sign of Hitler's regime and and sign of death to millions.
Notice it bein tilted 45 degrees, black in colour and on white and red background.

2. The Finnish swastika.
Symbol of good fortune, luck, long age etc..... Also (was) the symbol of Finnish airforces still used as a shield in the AF. Has been used in (fenno) scandinavia since the iron-age.

3. Lotta-Svärd shield.
Shield of the Lotta-Svärd. Women of Finland grouped as the Lotta-Svärd during the wars. They basically ran the whole country while majprity of the men were on battlefields..

4. Shorinji Kempo manji
Represents the opposites of the world: heaven and earth, good and evil, life and death.
Also the Japanese symbol for a Buddhist temple.



How many of those do you find insulting?

This is one side of political correctness that we ran to in Finland...
We've used the swastika a "bit" longer than a certain Adolf did, and now some ignorant assholes want to deny the use of them, and give shit to our airforces for using their traditional symbol.

One thing that pisses me off big time!

I know the Swastika was a peace symbol originally. It was four L's Life, Love, Liberty and I forget the last one.

I have to agree PC is becomeing a huge problem. Most of these do gooders don't realise that they are in fact insulting more people by trying to make people say seasons greetings or whatever instead of Merry Christmas. I belive in christmas why should their view on it stop my time of enjoying it. The other day me and my wife went to Red Lobster everything was going great. The waitress handed us are bill and said "Merry Christmas...oh Wait I'm supposed to say Happy Holidays sorry about that". I turned to her and said "I actuly find it offending that people have to say Happy holidays. This PC grap is getting out of hand" most of the tables around us heard what i said. I felt bad because she most likely belives in Christmas (99% of people do i think) and she was only doing her job so i gave her a bigger tip then normal. But if it doesn't stop soon your going to get a ticket if you fart out side and don't say " excuse me" instead of "wheres that duck"

Can't can't talk about politics, but we can talk about political correctness and how (too)far it has gone


That swastika thing is just one side of ignorant assholes that piss me off so fucking much!

i soooo agree with that man, even though im a pig headed kind of guy...

PC is really censorship with a "happy face". All of these little groups offended by something. At first it is just banning certain things through pressure from the public and their interest groups. Then banning isn't enough and these things must be removed from society completely. The thing these PC nuts seem to forget is that there is someone offended by everything. And sooner or later we wind up in a world where everyone is not born equal but must be made equal by the government. Free thought suffers because someone may become offended and once again we fall into the dark ages.

Our decent has begun. It will take the free thinkers continuing to think freely to try and stop it. But we probably won't be able to. Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it. The dark ages were caused by the Catholic Church. The second dark ages will be caused by the PC crowd. If we do not allow those misguided individuals who continue to show the Nazi swastika to do so, the entire Nazi era becomes a footnote to us and easily repeatable. PC forces all of the isms (racism, sexism, etc) underground where they fester and rot, rupturing at times into riots and murder. I prefer my racists to be easily recognizable so I can avoid them. I could write a thesis here but my point is that PC doesn't change minds or hearts. It just makes the issue grow unchecked until it explodes.

my kid's teacher put up a Christmas tree in their class, but the school told her that she's not allowed to call it a Christmas tree, they have to call it The Holiday Tree. So retarded. Whoever heard of a Holiday Tree?
