Ipod Vs Zune?

We all know your not bying an iPod so just get your Zune and be done with it.
Personally, I think you should by the iPod.

me more of a mac fanboy than someone who prefers to eat certain foods over others

We have Sandisk and Creative players in this house and I will say we have never been disappointed. If you are looking for an 8 GB or less player for mostly audio, I would seriously consider the Sandisk Sansa series. They are cheaper than the the two mentioned and are very nice.

iPod is good for some things, not so good for others. Zune is the same way. If relegated to just those two, if all you do is listen to music on it, I would personally recommend the Zune. If you also want better video support and support for podcasts, then I would recommend an iPod.

i got The first gen zune it always randomly shut off, 2 other freinds have the same issue. and the software zune uses is a pain in the ass All my music clicked like crazy on the zune and the media player on my comp, but if i soley opend up media player the music worked fine.itunes is easier to use, but the video converting BS they put you through sucks. I brought my Zune back and traded it for a Ipod classic, Hasnt froze on me yet. my guess is that zune fixed most of the issues it had before on the next gen player. I feel ipod is a bit more reliable though I still have an old IPOD mini that works great looks like it went through a hurricane but still works, I use My players at work usualy 7-9 hours a day for 5 days a week. The first gen zune only lasted a week before i traded it. JUST MY EXPERIANCE SO DONT BE LIKE "YOU SUCK, YOU LIKE APPLE" lol i just had better luck i guess

I bought a Zune a few months ago and I haven't had any problems with it yet. I wish it would support more video formats, though.

stop listening to other peoples music and sucking off their creativity and make your own music...

if you propagate either product your just an unpaid billboard for the brands....

id rather be a billboard and listening to good music then have to listen to something i made my self.

i love my ipod but I don't mind testing the zune

had the same choosing between the zune and ipod problem last year ... and ended up buying the Zune... and u have no idea how glad i am now that i chose the Zune .. and u wont know how good a Zune is until u try out other peoples ipods ...
now the new Zune 80 is out .. and its even better than the old zune (capacity , smaller size , a bit bigger screen , better battery ) .. personally i havent tried the zune 80 ... but if i have to make a choice between the ipod and even the OLD zune 30 i would choose the zune anytime .. its that good ...
some people complain about problems with their zune and stuff .. i havent had a single problem with it for 14 months now .. and when i compared the sound quality of both players the zune sounded a bit better ... one thing i like about ipods though is that they have more choices for the equalizer ...
so finally .. all u have to do is go to the market and hold both of them in ur hands.. thats when ull fall in love with the zune ...
p.s the new zune computer software is amazing too ...

OK buddy.....I was thinking about getting a new combo Beta/DVD player so I could still play all of my old beta tapes. NOT! Wish on princess.
