Ipod Vs Zune?

What would you rather have?

My Ipod locks up all the fucking time and it pretty much sucks my ass.

I have to use Itunes which also pretty much sucks my ass

Does anyone have any good feedback on the Zune yet?

I hate Ipods they're such a rip-off, a friend of mine has a zune and he seems to be pretty happy with it, I'm not sure what size it is though. Personally I have the Archos 504 which is easily the best purchase I've ever made. It's 80gb and pretty much a portable hard drive. It also has a removable battery and you can buy an extra for like 25 bucks, that's a far cry from anything apple offers. It's a little on the bulky side but if that's not an issue then I definitely recommend it.

Ive seen those before, they look pretty cool. Kinda the equivalent of my Rio Karma when I bought that a couple of years ago.

Got a Zune, love it.

I got a Zune as a birthday gift last year, and it's pretty sweet, I guess.

No complaints, really.

i like the wireless sync and transfer options of the zune. only beef is the file support. not sure about the ipod, i'd guess similar issues with format. get a zune.

Have several generations of iPods and never had any issues. Zunes? Are they still making those? I remember when they first came out, all the local stores couldn't pay customers to take one.To the OP, have you considered taking your iPod to a nearby Apple Store or calling Apple support?

Anything Apple pretty much sucks. Its the wanna be. Its the Beta of the Beta vs. VCR of the 80's. Zune is the way to go.

nice topic, i'm in the market to buy a new player and was leaning towards a zune...can't wait to hear what people say

ive had an iPod for as long as i can remember..
never had any problems with it, except a battery issue with my nano..

called apple and had it picked up from my house within 2 days


i laugh at all these apple haters its like its the in thing to do at the moment and you all follow without having any experience with them..

my son had an ipod. apple replaced it 3 times. now he has a zune and loves it cause it works all the time

I like both, but I am partial to the Zune. Generation 2 Zune's are pretty damn nice.

Although I generally am a PC guy, I fucking love my apple IPhone. The thing is great.

I have Creative Zen Vision:M 30GB and couldnt be happier. That baby is perfect. It even plays Xvid/DivX movies from the scratch, just transfer&play. I never liked ipod.

I second the Creative Zen:Vision M. The only drawback is the lack of accessories that go with it. But that's a small issue, as far as I'm concerned. Just get a BSE and you're good to go!

i heard that neither is too bad as long as you can crack the hell out of them. ive heard bad things about itunes, but being a conscientious objector to apple id say get a zune.

ive got an iriver (not an apple product btw) and basically you drag and drop anything, and i mean any file type what-so-ever, from your computer to your player.

totally go for the zune, who the hell wants to use itunes all the time?
just think of it like a pc purchase, would you buy the apple product or go for the product sane people would use?
