Now keep in mind data processing of this kind requires general purpose CPUs. CPUs with caches, Out-of-Order instruction, and branch prediction. Of which the PS3 only has one.

@ Lobotomy: Yeah, but it'd be cheaper to build a dedicated PC for that kinda price. You'd get better performance and be a helluva lot cheaper.
