Blurry spot in my right eye. What the hell?

You could have Glaucoma. You should see a doctor. Now!
As for the cost. contact the local chapter of your city's
Lion's club. The Lions have eye health issues as the charity they support.
When I was in your spot, un-employed and broke. I got treatment
that was paid for by the Lion's Club. They paid for a Glaucoma
laser operation to save what vision I had left. Call 'em up.
Tell 'em the problem. Ask for their help. They will send you to
one of the doctors who they know. It worked for me.
I have Glaucoma and I have several blind spots, such as you
describe because of it. I take eye drops 3x a day and it saves
the vision I have left.

@Rikko & Seryano: Thanks for the tips guys. I'll look into that Lions Club thing. I've never heard of them, I've heard of the Moose lodge but never the Lions. Also I sure as hell hope it's not glaucoma but I guess it's possible. Isn't there usually some pain involved with glaucoma? I have no pain in the eye at all if that matters.

No there is no pain. Some people experience itchy eyes.
They call Glaucoma "the sneak thief of sight". If you know you got it, it
is usually too late. Like your spot. If you do not get it checked you will
loose more vision and it cannot be fixed. Your eyeball swells up, doesn't
drain and damages the optic nerve. Get on the horn right now! Do not
mess with this. You can go blind. Call the Lions Club now!
