OK, that's why I didn't undrestand. I don't do drugs, you see.

My albums are mainly from before 2000, like Queen, ELO, Jean-Michel Jarre, Dire Straits, Eric Clapton, Fleetwood Mac, Nazareth, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, etc, etc, etc.

Jean-Michel Jarre is the first guy who became rich with syntersizer (spelling ?) music.
He is French. He gave several concerts in the 80's outdoors, for free. I saw the concert he gave in Paris, from my livingroom window.

Now all the other guys are trying to copy him.
But he made his own music and these new guys take old number1 hits, add a beat and repeat it for at least 100.000.000.000.000 times.
They will never ever reach his level.

Just try to find a website, with some samples of his music and you will get hooked on it.
Maybe under the name Jarre-live.
Or numbers like Oxygen (upto number iv), Revolution is also great, btw.

During his concerts you see all kind of pictures made with lasers. Giant faces on the side of buildings, that's what he likes.
Just amazing stuff.

http://www.lostsoul.org/howards/midi/jarre.html

Select the 5th file :oxygene4-1.mid Oxygene Part 4 (version 1) and then work your way around all the files.

I'm with Stavesacre on the Massive Attack. I guess to round out a five "desert island style" I'd add:

Quicksand - Slip (one of the only albums I own that I dig EVERY fucking song)
My Bloody Valentine - Loveless (gotta have my noise)
Laika - Sounds of the Satellites (reminds me of mind blowing sex with one of my ATF g/f's)
The Cars - Anthology - so I can have several favorite 80s songs with me to remind me of the good ole' days!

You are right stavesacre but Ronnie likes to think of JE as indie and a struggling artist trying to find his nitch in the music industry.
