I like small boobies so, ya, boob jobs just aren't something that appeal to my taste, either before or after a baby...

I'd wait a while before you make any decisions...see how things settle out. I love the Everyone Loves Raymond sit-com comment after having 4 kids "Ray, these are working breasts and not built for show". I've known some gals where post pregnancy did them well and they were still sexy for their age and status. Others are like...for the first time in their life they have BREASTS...and they like them...especially if they are proportional to their body frame. Breasts DO NOT make the woman. Bottom line is WHY breasts are important to you: vanity, self confidence, self esteem, body proportion, arranging a wardrobe with better matching parts (shoulders, bustline, stomach, hips, legs). As working organs childbirth can take a LOT out of your bustline so sit back, wait, and think...are you doing this for you or what others think of you. My wife had an augmentation to correct asymmetry so I've worked through this as well as success/failure acquaintance experiences. Whatever your decision, please use a Board Certified physician that can work with you to gain the result you desire. Best wishes for the delivery of you child and whatever decision you make.

Stick with your own breasts.Men like something thatis real, not artificial. You could show us them and we could vote on it ?

yeah, the only thing wrong with your boobs is inside your head.

It probably wouldn't be bad if fake books looked and felt realistic, but they don't...ever. Throw on top the fact that you're guaranteed to have health issues down the road should be a no brainer for girls. Natural ftw!

Short answer: don't do it.

Long answer: conditionally. Sometime back you said that you wanted to have 4-5 kids...(am I right ?). And unless you are Heidi Klum, a normal body is going to change with child birth and your breasts will change shape. This is what I am expecting when I have kids in a few years. And I expect that I am going to have a small boob job to restore my (killer) B's that I am very, very happy with.

So to my mind, fake boobs are just a tip off to a very, very insecure woman, and no pleasure to play with either. So be patient with your self. You have far more important things to think about than big titties. And besides.....YOU ARE JUST GORGEOUS THE WAY YOU ARE !

There's a problem with this line of thinking - and generally the "FAKE BOOBZ R BAD" haters.

Well done fake boobs can look and feel fairly realistic. The thing is, since they look and feel realistic, you'll never know that you're looking at or feeling fake boobs. Thus, every pair that you've felt or seen that look and feel fake are because you're seeing a sub-optimal augmentation. So, when they're saying don't do it, they often mean, "Don't get a bad boob job."

As for the boobs, if it's something you really want and you think implants are worth it, then I don't have a problem with it - and furthermore, I don't presume that I am in any position to tell someone what they should do with their body if it makes them feel better about themselves.

On a more general note, I find the hate for surgery kind of interesting. These people say, "Natural is best!" when it's obvious that's not the case...at least for most things. Are these people attracted to women with hairy legs? That's natural, after all. Would they advise against getting LASIK surgery, instead suggesting that someone's naturally poor eyesight is best? When a baseball pitcher tears his UCL and needs Tommy John surgery, those people don't protest, proclaiming that his arm is naturally weak and we should appreciate him for who he is rather than how hard he can throw a ball.

Modern humans alter themselves all the time in all kinds of ways - and it's strange to me that people pick on this one specific alteration and complain about it, while ignoring the countless others.

As F said, your breasts are serioulsy going to change dramatically during and after each child. The only thing I would respectfully suggest is that you shouldn't decide for certain until you are a year or more out from officially being done having children.

I think it is a bit strange that you find it so. The obvious self image issues and invasive surgery itself hardly put it on par with something as simple as shaving one's legs. Analogies to Tommy John surgery (?....is that longer penis ? lol) or any orthopedic prceedure is equally invidious.

Anyway, EL, with all due respect I disagree with your comment on the negligible qualitative between good fake and real. I've got titties and have more hands on field testing experience ( god bless the University of California dorm accomodations) than you do.

So there !

somehow I don't think ramsann was looking for an opinion "WAR" but rather opinions. If you all want to debate it, start your own thread on the topic instead of hi jacking hers.

I must admit that I chose Tommy John surgery on purpose, because of the nature of the procedure. Ulnar collateral ligament replacement (TJ surgery) is generally done only to highly trained athletes who have to preform throwing motions at a high level. The average person could go without a fully functioning UCL without much trouble. Thus it's not really comparable to most orthopedic surgeries, like an ORIF, in that forgoing it will not alter the quality of one's life. So, basically, the surgery is an elective surgical procedure to allow a person to excel at a particular job....so, is it then acceptable for exotic dancers, waitresses, bartenders, etc, to have an elective surgical procedure to increase their success at their jobs? If not, that's a double standard.

My larger point is that once you accept makeup and nice clothing and shaving one's body as acceptable lengths to which one may go, drawing the line at cosmetic surgery is just creating an arbitrary endpoint. Is botox ok? It's a non-invasive surgical procedure. How about laser facial rejuvenation? Laser hair removal? Surgical wart removal?

Why are breast implants more "morally" acceptable on women who've had a mastectomy, rather than on a 20-something year old healthy woman? Same procedure, same purpose (to enhance self-image, make the woman feel whole, etc).

The differences in lengths to which one will go to alter their appearance mainly boil down to risk tolerances, which I think are best left to the individual. I wouldn't presume to tell someone they shouldn't ride a motorcycle because the risk associated with it is very high and the rewards are very low when compared to an alternate method of transportation. Yet it's generally considered acceptable to do so with regard to cosmetic surgery.

Our social mores are very scattershot, IMO.

As for boobies, I've inspected my fair share, but I would concede that you've probably got me beat.

when you were 20-25 did you want some girl who has saggy boobs at 19?
i just hate feeling ugly, is all. i do have a pretty small frame, which explains why i had such small boobs before.

I would just like to say one more thing, myself and my significant other both had a kid before we got together, I know the childbirth thing didn't have any effect on my body, so all you smart asses can just keep your comments to yourself

All I would like to say is, a man that truly loves you for who you are will not care if your breasts are big and firm, or deflated and have stretchmarks, as my other half's do, I love her just the same regardless. So before you decide to get a boob job remember, don't do it for anyone but yourself...

My mrs has had 2 kids, hers have inevitably sagged, however I love her titties, and her, for who she is.

And when I get to play with them occasionally!

Bottom line is, you are young, wait until you've had all your kids, and if YOU are unhappy with them, and want to change them, then do it.

But not for anyone else....

I reckon you're a pretty good candidate, just make sure they get the nipples in the right place.
