FM adapters: There was only AM radio for decades, so when FM radio came along people bought a little adapter about the size of a deck of cards, plugged it into the back of your AM radio, and voila, you had AM/FM radio,

Granny/creeper gears: A very low 1st. gear in your average work truck. Not seen since trucks have been wussified.
Carburetors: Really don't miss those fussy things at all.
Three-on-the-tree shifters: Not on the floor, where God intended them to be, but on the steering column for some silly reason.
Bias-ply tires: Horrible in the snow. Horrible in the rain. Just plain horrible.
Manual steering and brakes: About the time men turned wimpy(late 70s/early 80s) all vehicles featured power steering and brakes.
