i haven't had the car out in a while.... sorry... it has 87,192 original miles on it... i haven't had it out in a long time, but i fired it up 2 weeks ago, it still runs but it needs gas and a tune up...Quote:

late 40's early '50's ford flathead V8's. pretty "honkin'" stuff back then.
in 1967 when i was first married had a '59 nash rambler american with a flathead 6 that could squeak the tires in 2nd gear.

Lol, I had a '60 Corvair, in that awful shade of green that was common back then. Two-speed on the dash. Crappy winter fuel mileage(16-17 mpg, I recall) and lovely trailing throttle oversteer that put me in the ditch more than once.

gap is the open measure of the points, dwell is the amount of time in degrees the points are closed. Don't feel bad I haven't done that in about 27 years.Quote:
