That's not fast. lol. Torque makes a difference, and 4bangers just can't make it. Horsepower sells cars, torque wins races.


My engine, 400 rwtq, 302 v8 KB supercharged plus all the basic bolt ons, some not so basic, plus a rear end swap, etc...the list goes on. My Mustang, and a lot of other ones, would eat your 4banger.

Those 4's can be made quick no doubt, but they don't last when they're built up. High revs cause massive amounts of stress on an engine. It's exactly why you see muscle cars still driving around strong today even when they still have their original engine. The same won't be true about the ricer cars in 10-20 years, that is unless their filled with bondo like most of them are anyways.

I eat up Ponies all day long and i dont run 13s i run mid 10s and for a del sol thats bad ass, V8s are just as prone to breaking parts as a four cylinder is when put under racing conditions thats why pros with top fuel dragcars have sponsors that pay for a shitload of extra parts bc they break all the time, and what would bondo have anything to do with the performance of an engine. Now Im not sayin i can beat every V8 out there but i know I have beat more than have beat me, supercharged or not.

what is it with you idiots thinking that V8s are cheaper? You can build up a b16 for so much cheaper than you can a a big 350,... thats how import street racing got started bc the asain kids where takin there cheaper hondas and nissans and buildin them up to powerful ass race cars, and I never said the V8s havent been dominating the field for a long ass time, I love V8s, Im savin up for a 350 to put in my truck (my next project) which by the way costs $5000 which is almost twice as much as a b16 that i can get for $2,700....... but that is why i am so amazed at these imports that can run just as fast as them with only half the cylinders. so hate all you want, like i said, but dont get mad at me when my "rice" balls by you bc i actually took some time and energy and put it into my car to make it what i want instead of just going to the car lot and buying a mustang and callin everyone with a honda a ricer bc your insecure about your own damn self....and there is a replacement for displacment....its called quality engine work. instead of stupid phrases you read out of Mustang Magazine.
