There's always a bit of increase of wait time following December but hopefully it won't take too long to get on top on the queue again and reduce this back down to around 5 days or so.

Curious how the queue works. I have had several images put in queue for weeks. One from a series and a separate one of them were released 5-days ago. Surprised the remaining images have not been looked at in the remaining time especially since other images are obviously coming up. Is the queue randomized? If not, how is the other images I uploaded were overlooked? I do understand things are greatly backed up but curious how it works as in the past when I upload they all seem released around same time.

When I moderate images they are presented to me one at a time, and at random (in terms of the user that uploaded the image), but they should be in chronological order. So those images that were uploaded 20 days ago should be moderated before those that were uploaded yesterday, for example.

If you upload 20 images at once, it doesn’t mean they would be moderated all at once, but there shouldn’t be too much of a wait between them. If you uploaded 20 images on a day where 10,000 other images were uploaded, then the wait would obviously be increased slightly.

Has a definition been established of exactly what constitutes a photo being place the new category 'voyeur, candid, creep shots'

"Beach" would supercede "voyeur, candid" - so if you see any marked as the latter and it's clearly beach-related, then please report it so it can be put into the right category. The new category is more for things like spy-cams or peep shots through windows etc.

Why was my original message about the new category edited to remove the entire message that I posted ?
I'm a moderator, I already spend a lot of time 're-categorizing' posts in the wrong category. Some moderators consistently categorize women/girls in their underwear as 'non-nude' or in swimwear as 'non-nude' or in bondage as 'amateur porn'.
The 'new' category will only make mis-categorizing pic's even more of a problem.

I agree with you - I've just been through a load this morning and had to re-categorise. From what I understand, Diz is currently re-writing the moderation rules so that a lot of issues like these will hopefully be ironed out. A lot of images that are put into the wrong category could be down to the group of moderators not knowing what constitues as "lingerie" or "amateur porn" (as examples), but I also feel that a lot of it could be down to rushing through and simply selecting the wrong category.

Congrats to the image moderators in reducing the average queue length down to 3 days, and perhaps even lower in some cases! Having said this, I have noticed an increase in the number of "inconsistencies" in how certain content is treated in past weeks.... just wanted to pass this along. I'm not going to lose my mind over some images being rejected -- moderation is an absolutely critical process -- just wanted to provide some respectful feedback

I’m just curious about how the determination is made to mark photos as celebrity/model. I’ve had several marked like that and they are photos that I’ve taken and she isn’t a model or celebrity. And I’m not a professional.
