well, there were only two complainers, and one of them went away after one post (really the wise thing to do if you're offended). for myself, I'm SO glad to see you posting here again. I'm gonna go enjoy those latest pics now.

and as HG said, the members have their opinions...they can bring it up with senja or diz if they feel that strongly about it, but ive never heard them complain, and this forums mod hasnt either

Man if it isn't one thing it's another... i haven't been online much this week..i'll give you my last 3 diary entries as to why:

Tues- March 21st

I got a call at work tonight saying scooter had a couple of seizures.
he went to the vet ER and i started crying until they sent me home.
now i'm sitting in the computer room hoping he'll make it through the
night. After $600 of tests they say it looks like epilepsy which
isn't good b/c he's only a year and a half. I have to get up early
and go to pick him up at the hospital. they said if he has another i
may have to "make a decision" I'm just a wreck and very sad. My twin
is online trying to cheer me up. It feels so empty here w/out my pup-
arazzi. He follows me everywhere.

Well that's all i feel like saying. not much else on my mind.

Wed- March 22nd

Well i barely slept last night and i didn't work this morning. I
was there as soon as they opened to collect my little beast. He was
plucky and cute. The ER vet said they tested for everythign and
ruled out it all. it has to be epilepsy. since he had a few
seizures in a row they were VERY concerned. they kept him overnight
and thankfully he didn't have any more. he's back today and being
spoiled even more than before. He seems happy to have me around and
i'm keeping a close eye on him. I'm gonna make an appointment w/
our regular vet to talk about putting him on meds.

I got back and we climbed in bed and slept until about noon. He's
happily chewing a rawhide that i dipped in peanut butter and all is
right. I'm just concerned he could have another and god knows i
can't handle it on my own. For now all i can do is wait and watch.

Being so far from home and friends it was pretty hard. my twin was online last
night and chatted w/ me for a bit to cheer me up. But scoot has been my best
friend for the past year and i dunno what i'd do w/out him.

Sun- March 26th

Went to the vet friday but she doesn't want to put him on anti-seizure meds until he's had another. i understand where she's coming from. i wouldnt' want to medicate him for no reason. but she wants me to wait and see if he has another this month. i hate feeling like i'm waiting to watch him suffer. I also wouldn't want him to have to deal w/ medication side effects for no reason.

This is why i haven't been online much this week. Between working and watching my scootman like a hawk i haven't had the time or energy to be online. i hope ya'll can forgive me. for now he's doing well and i hope that it was a one time thing.
