Intentions:

We need to fill up the Computer Forum, with at least one Moderator in each of Games, Hardware, and Software- since they're presently empty.
Until then, take some time out of your day to give them a quick glance and either take care of anything or report it to a global.

Still looking to promote eligible and worthy mods to Global, in order to further advance my goal creating a small but capable Crew.

Excellent job with the thread. Communication is key and something that's really been lacking around this place.

I'm just liking Bangles new "open door" kinda policy where we actually get informed about what's going on around here as opposed to how normally we never get any info about anything.

Maybe that thing in your eye is some of Bangles' poo.

To be fair, didn't Fefe always announce crew additions/deletions/changes also. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for encouraging better communication, but was there really a problem in this area before? (excluding the Dutch crew of course)

Well as far as new additions yeah that was always posted but I still don't even know what mods have delete queue rights other than screwy. Other then that we never got told what was goin on around here and I'm not blaming that just on FeFe. With Bangles has also come a willingness to listen and to take seriously our opinions which I consider a huge part of communication which didn't even exist at all before now. I've always considered the disorganized and lack of communication one of the bigger problems here. It's almost impossible to even have a serious conversation without people comin in and makin jokes and confusing all the issues.

I'm just tryin to encourage the good changes I see, that's all.

Ok, I can agree with all that. I'd kinda like to know who all the greylist mods are, who handles reported posts and movies, and why we all can't we all see the list of blacklisted sites, or at the very least, the whitelisted ones, but I considered those short coming with WBW features, not a problem brought on or continued because of the crew chief. There isn't any point in debating how things used to be, but for myself, I always found Fefe to be open and willing to assist with my concerns, but her ability to get things changed depends on the cooperation of the Dutch crew, and that's going to be true for Bangles as well. Could things have been better, probably, but from my own personal experience, I think she did a damn good job with what she had to work with, at least up until recently when the amount of time she was spending here dropped off noticeably. If others experiences and opinions are different, I can't argue with that.

Ditto on the joking around thing, there's a place for it in the office, but too often I think it detracts from ability to have a serious and productive discussion. Not saying I'm not guilty too... just saying.

I think the things Bangles outlined in the State of WBW speech are right on track to boost things around here, I hope he can get enough cooperation to make it happen.

Yeah I wasn't tryin to throw FeFe under the bus or anything that wasn't the point of what I posted just for the record.

Also I'm glad to see we can find somethin to agree on, Brownell.
