I agree with this as well. Visiting the lounge is rather like dropping in on someone's party ( and the energy level here can be really high and attractive), but it is too clubbish to attract many women or noobs.

You've got to admit this is a very, VERY tough room to play.

it's always been that way to some degree, but I think the people in the clique don't really realize it.

Granted all forums take a little while to fit into.

I've been heavy in several forums and was sort of the unofficial leader of one. You get to know people and gravitate towards those people. It's hard for a newbie to find their spot.

Back in the days of jack, latino, fefe, jolly.etc... I tried a couple times. Never got anywhere with it. I had other forums to play in, so I didn't try that hard here. Once I tried, it meshed. Most folks just don't try that hard.
