I'm having a hard time following you. You say 'the forums', yet all of your references seem to be the Lounge. It's my impression that many of the other forums like the Fun forum attract a great deal of attention....the ones that focus on word play in particular.
So help me with this. Do yo just want more play pals for the Lounge ? Is there really a problem with Forum participation at all, or just the lounge ? Be specific.

I come and go (no pun intended) every so often but just don't have time to hit things up every day, or even week. I'm still low on post count, but have more in the non-nude than nude sections. Just find the right thread to hit up. Other times, I stop by to read some of the comments and just don't post up.

I guess I should answer the original question.
I would still come here as long as I'm being entertained. To be honest, I can find oodles of porn all over the internet if I was so inclined, so it's not a big deal to me anymore. I come for the lulz and such and will occasionally post things I've come across on the internet. When that becomes no fun, I stop doing it, and if I'm not being entertained, I don't visit as much.
So that's my deal.

But at least the idea was a little different.
I think Lindros created a thread which was essentially a World Cup of women, where people voted in each head-to-head until there was a winner. Again, a basic idea but it took a bit of thought and effort to do I imagine, and that was enjoyable to see unfold.
I generally stick to the threads I create in the porn section, and I daresay there are a few people who are sick of those by now, but I still think without porn the site would lose a LOT of traffic.
Anyway, I'm off to think of ANY word in the English language beginning with an 'E'.

Not just the Lounge, the sports forum is slow, as is the games forum, the panel, hardware/software, pretty much all of them are slow except the babe forums
And for the fun forum, it's pretty much the same people, with the occasional person that hasn't posted any where else, jumping in the game threads...
And no, this is in no way a membership drive, I don't get paid for anything I do here, neither do any of the other mods, all the time we put in is voluntary, so just on principal, I wouldn't run a membership drive even if I was asked to
This thread is simply about why do people not post in the forums, are they to busy, are they afraid they will be ridiculed for starting a thread that others might not find "cool", or are people simply lazy and expect others to entertain them.
