So, I just bought an external hard drive.

It turns out, it's one of the lowest rated external drives on the Apple website.

...I didn't feel like returning to the Apple store. So I'm hoping that I'm one of the few that it works for.

I felt that way after I bought my WD Mybook 500GB external harddrive...all the sites are all "it only lasts a year"..I was like "bawwwww"....

..but when I'm not using it, I leave it unplugged in my cabinet..hopefully that prolongs its life.

I'm hoping that the drive lasts longer as long as it's never touched.

But I think I might just wait for the 1TB drive to show up, and then wipe the 500gb drive, and return it.

Wipe it real good. lol. There's gonna be some freaky stuff on the drive.
