People here leave comments on babe pictures, but holy shit are most of them horrible. They're like a little bunny hopping emoticon and "Nice [generic body part]." Repeat times a billionty.
Now, I moderate the comments on the babe galleries, which means I basically have to read every comment (well, not me, as there are others who do it too - between all of us we read every comment made) and the vast majority are some banal nondescript junk. I've been doing this for years and know banal nondescript junk comments when I see them.
However.
Once in a while I'll see a comment that is actually interesting, amusing, or in some way stands out from the vast hordes of comments that want to make you jam your eyeballs out of your head with a rusty spork. Some commenters just accidentally stumble upon amusing comments by accident, perhaps not even knowing what they're typing is intersting, and other members are more consistent in their originality. In this vein Photony (who has since changed his username) used to be one of my favorite commenters, as he was always good for a fresh take. His fresh takes didn't always make sense, and that bothered others, but I saw a lot of his comments as performance art. They were great. Certainly better than, "Nice ass
, " or "Let's fuck," as if the woman in the photo is actually reading the comments (Protip: well over 99% of the pictures in our galleries were posted by people other than the subject of the photo. You're not talking to the person there.)
Anyway, I've long thought it's a shame that the odd good comment just sits in the galleries, unknown to the masses, lost among the sea of dross that most of the commentariat produces.
So I'm going to remedy that by posting comments that randomly amuse me in this thread. I'll post appropriate comments as I come across them in the moderation queue. I'm not going to look through all the old comments to try to fish out the best ones of yore or anything, but if I happen to come across them I'll try to remember to post them here, and maybe even link to them so you can see the picture they're talking about, as sometimes context is necessary.
