That I think is a tough question. I hear a lot of people rave about the Xbox360 more than any other. I know it would be nice to own all of those game consoles. You should go to the different electronic stores that have test stations set up for the public to try before you buy. And see which one you like the most. I imagine that as time goes on prices will drop through the floor because sales will be down and people will be pawning off their stuff because they're in need of quick cash.

Anyway, while I was fucked up last night at 2am something told me to check walmart online, again. They fuckin had it! Ordered that fucker and itll be here before xmas!!! Checked walmart again this morning (6hrs later)...out of stock!!! He's totally going to be suprised.

The Wii is great for certain kinds of games. Resident Evil 4 for the Wii is worth the experience even if you finished it on other consoles. Racing games are fun with the wheel but you can use the Remote and Nunchuck for serious play. Sports games are hit or miss. EA really screwed up the Wii lineup by concentrating too much on making the controls accessible and not enough on graphics or gameplay. But the Wii Sports and some other sports games are fun as Hell to play. They did a really good job with Super Mario Galaxy and the Lego games. And the updated Super Punch Out looks really good. But in the end, if you are into serious gaming and want state of the art graphics you need to look at the others. The Wii is a great way to get everyone involved (my wife loved playing two-player on House of the Dead 2&3 and RE:The Umbrella Chronicles) and has a lot of fun party games and games that don't require a long time at a single sitting. But it is missing a lot of really hardcore gamer games and features. I love mine and can't fathom spending the money for an Xbox360 or PS3 because I know I won't play them that much.

Its a puzzle wrapped in an enigma.
If you get a Wii, you get to do the games naked. I mean, you get to do it on any of the other ones, but with the Wii, she gets to jump around and crap. Naked.

It depends what your after if you want a high spec games machine for hard core gaming go for a x-box or PS3 (x-box wins hands down on price).
The Nintendo Wii is the most family-oriented of the consoles, and appeals mainly to casual gamers rather than the hardcore,

I have all three and here's my two cents on each one.
THEY ALL SUCK!!!!
Wii: sub par graphics and not a lot of games. I only use it when I'm REALLY drunk or when my nieces come over to visit.
360: I've had four red rings of death and last one was on my new 360 elite. It very noisy when playing so turn up the volume. A lot of the 360 exclusive games are really short. You have to pay for xboxlive.
Ps3: Way too expensive. Online service, even though it's free, kinda sucks. Not very many great games. PS3 always seems to get screwed when it comes to download content.

actually if you ARE a full time gamer the 360 is for you...buy an intercooler for the back and you wont overheat it...also, with the fall update the 360 has been MUCH less noisy...online IS 50 bucks but youre paying for the interface and mega ease of use....game selection imo is better for the 360...i rarely play my PS3, i rarely buy blu ray either at present so...
i only use my wii for the virtual console to get old school games....but thats pretty much it....and im pretty much a full time gamer so....take it as you will

On the Wii fit. I do yoga on it. Its good for my back. I'll tell you what, video games or not, I'm 32 and last year I started getting back pain for the first time. For all of you youngsters, 31 is when it starts up it would seem. The wii fit exercises do a lot for posture and working your back muscles. I stopped having pains.

It all depends on what you wanna play. I've seen a lot of people say Wii is a party machine. Thats pretty much right. Theres a few games that aren't multiplayer that are good. Personally I own an Xbox. Have a lot of fun with it. CoD4 and Gears of War are great games. Along with that most, not all, of the games on PS3 that are any good are also on Xbox. CoD4, Oblivion, Guitar Hero, and Assasins Creed to name a few.

I'm far from a serious gamer but I have a 360 and I love it! I've played Wii before and it can be fun with a group of people but it's graphics are weak. The Wii is definitely more family orientated. The 360 and it's games have kick ass graphics and you might find yourself up at 3am playing and not even realize how late it is!
