"What is your favorite storyline, surprise, swerve, screwjob, etc.?"

That is what I originally wrote, but it has since turned into far more. Give your insight.

I liked this one time, when wrestling was on, and I changed the channel.

Seriously though, I know there have to be some fans out there, so I'll give this thread a good bump for ya. And everyone play nice in there. I know some of the opinions that people have on wrestling.

They are all so obviously set-up so you can't be surprised and act like something has happened.

Why stone cold doesn't wrestle anymore? Too busy @ WBW?

What happened to brock lesnar, and few other big stars?

I dont have a favorite moment from it but I used to watch it a looooong time ago when Jake the Snake, The Ultimate Warrior, and all those were on. It has just gotten too predictable for me to watch anymore. I'm not saying it's fake, because it's not. They really get hurt and everything but it is scripted and everyone is acting.

this is one of the stupidest things i've ever read

have you ever heard of a surprise ending to movies or tv shows

its just entertainment, its a tv show, just because it looks like a sport dont confuse it and try to play the it's fake card

there's thousands of GREAT movies, and guess what, they're all fake too

i liked a lot of the stone cold stuff, probably my favorite, and i wish i could find the clip somewhere, was when he was injured and they went and visited him at his house and he's walking around drinkin beers shootin arrows, just being an asshole, i remember cracking up

another great one was at brian pillman's house, stone cold breaks in the back door and then there's a gun shot and the tv goes dead, hilarious stuff

I fucking hate the one obvious "surprise":

If the judge gets smacked during the match, there are ALWAYS some 3rd dude smacking the other opponent. So it always ends as a "stolen" victory. "OMG those bad boys fucked up his championship and they stole the victory!!!".

It has it's moments, but too many annoying elements.

^That match was my favourite WWF moment (It happened on my birthday and my favourite wrestler won the legendary match ). Favourite storyline would have to be everything from after Wrestlemania 1998 until about March 1999

I think that the day Stone Cold drove the beer truck into the auditorium and sprayed beer everywhere.
At his height he was as pepular or maybe even more so than Hulk in his day.

ACTUALLY, the reason I posted a wrestling related topic in the first place was to see how many ignorant responses I would get. Don't you find wrestling related television to be somewhat intriguing? It hasnt had a re-run in almost 18 years. That is 936 two-hour episodes of original programming (not including anything WCW, ECW, or Smackdown related...Raw only). It is the only television show in history to be able to break, bend and manipulate stereotypes regarding race, religion, and sexual orientation in a completley open forum. Because it doesn't take itself too seriously, it is rarely charged or accused of prejudice in any way, allowing the viewer (often ages 10-17) to formulate opinions on subject matter that they would ordinarily never be exposed to.
