excellent, actually.
got up and voted this morning, did some schoolwork, took a nap (ha) took my brother's dog for a run, spent some time with the fam, got a free coffee and some smilie cookies
, and watched the election progress unfold with a friend -yay Obama! :]

It was alright. Woke up ealry, then spent 3 hours sleeping in. Missed a class, and then went to Russian.
And then I was supposed to help this girl study from 2-330, abd then from 430-6 for a test we had at 6.
But she canceled at 230, and then when I left one of my classes early (at 430) to help her not fail the class, she told me that she was going to be late. And then she showed up at 5:30, an hour later than she was supposed to.
And then we finally met up, and I found out that "studying" meant asking the professor to sign her course drop petition.
Which makes no sense, because she'd been asking to study for 3-4 weeks previously.
I voted like 5 days ago, so take that, sucka.
edit- he doesn't sound like he's man enough to have a mancave.

overall, sounds like a pretty damn productive day. haha

...at least BlendTec guy had a good idea going... ha
anyways. Imma head off and do some work. Skipping sleep tonight. I think i'm just going to go for a run bright and early... and try to make it an everyday routine (adding the sleep back in, though) ha

...I just realized... I'm actually proud to be an American today. ...and I never truly felt this pride in my country before...
I'm not saying in my 19 years that we haven't done anything good or great... but I just never paid much attention. I was a stupid kid, ha. and now that i had a chance to cast a vote and have actually paid attention to politics and our economy and how the rest of the world views us- as a nation that most had lost respect for ...it's great to see people from all over the world cheering for us and virtually putting their support behind us once again. The president elect really does make it feel like we can accomplish some great things. kind of makes me believe in something again.
and that makes me happy.
...and to try and make this post less than 100% sappy. I think we should all give up trying to find the meaning of "en." There isn't one. this girl has pulled a huge joke over on all of us. in fact. she probably is a member here and is laughing at all of us. haha
