Will she stay after she comes to America?

I'm on my mid-forties, I had not been lucky when it comes to relationships, it's not that I have ever been on a relationship in the past, don't get me wrong. In fact, I have been on a couple of healthy relationships in the past, but for some reason they never worked out.
For quite a while, after breaking up with my former girl, I know it sounds corny, but I started to lose faith in love because I really thought she was the one. So, as a way of relaxing and having a good time, this friend of mine told me to take one of these tours to Russia which are so popular these days because I’d meet nice & beautiful women, and after thinking it over a lot I finally made up my mind. Therefore, with nothing to lose (except for a couple of bucks), I went on the tour, they treated me really good and stuff and indeed I met this death-gorgeous, smart and sincere gal. We just simply clicked after meeting each other, we had the best time together while I was in Russia, and ever since I came back to the states we kept in touch almost every day by phone, chat, and e-mails,. I know it's hard to have long distance relationship, but she’s definitely worth it, plus I go to Russia every time I can.
I am very serious with her, we’re on a one-year relationship now, we have talked about her moving to the states and she’s ok with it.
Lately, I have started to think about popping the question once she moves in, of course she doesn’t know about it.
So here are my concerns:
Do you think I am rushing into things? Or should I just go for it and ask her to marry me?
Do you think it will work? You know, me being American and her being Russian? Or is it that you think she will have a hard time adapting to America and she’ll just feel like going back to Russia.


Any piece of advice would be very appreciated

ok...this is weird and i have no experience with it really, apart from a friend who married a girl from Indonesia while on work (Fed)

but here are my thoughts, mind you..this is JUST MY OPNION..

1. rushing it? yeah....you have been in a 1 year relationship but its been a long distance one. How about you move to Russia for about 3 months and stay with her full time? get shit sorted out first...to make sure both your feelings are 100%
2. you being american and her been russian should have nothing to do with in this day and age
3. she shouldnt have any problems adapting....if anyone would, it be you adapting to russia..

I would take it easy. It is never 100% possible to know if a woman is sincere, but in this case it sounds like things may be a bit lopsided. Not meaning it can't work and she isn't sincere, but meaning that she has more potential motivation to be deceitful, so I think you must be proportionaly more careful.

get her over and take pics of her to post here....ha ah!

Dude- if she is smoking hot she will dump you once she becomes a US citizen (through marriage) and learns to speak the language- 1 Year is a short time in my book- marry her in Russia or someother country other then the US so the she cant be nationalized- that way if she fucks ya over you call the INS on her ass.

take advantage of the situation while she is here, if it fails, just do it again

go over to russia for a few months bro to see if she is really keen and live with her.. you dont want to bring her over in case she fucks you over or you learn that she really isnt compatible with you like living with her and stuff...

i was in a long distance relationship for a little while to a cali. girl. i lived and worked there for a bit and knew of her prior to us eventually hooking up. we actually hooked up when i went back to cali. for a mth holiday. she then went to europe with me. after that it was several mths apart before i could make it back to cali for a cple more mths again. the mths apart were tough. there was talk of me moving over there and whatnot. i was prepared to do it. for me, marriage was not a realistic option. anyhoo, it ended. who were we kidding! if she made more of an effort to come down under instead of me making the constant effort i'm sure i'd be living in norcal somewhere with 2 kids right now. i do think of her fondly and she was a great gal but her priorities weren't inline with mine. to put it simply & bluntly: she was alittle too lazy!

Go for it, move her over. Don't marry her just yet. Let her see America and enjoy her in the mean time. Then you will both know if it is worth going further. You can get the milk free for a while, without buying the cow!

Don't marry her dude, sadly thing over there are not as good as here, the difference...credit credit credit my guess is that she has other intentions and also you forgot to say her age, -30 "red alert, red alert" bring her with a tourist visa, as people said live with her since most tourist visas last 6 months and get to know each other, don't act desperate and besides you are not lost, 40 years old is nothing I HAVE CLASSMATES IN COLLEGE of that age! so again, DO NOT MARRY HER! until you know each other completely

And she has to pay for at least half of her expenses, lets be real she may be unable to pay for everything, read HER! you can see when a person is looking fwd to b pampered or if she is self sufficient and a green card is as good to her as a toothpick
