I can never get anyone to pick up on that simple cue!
Me: "Hi, I'm Tooker Place the fourth, show promoter, damn
glad to meet you."
Beany: "Huh, I'm beany, and I can't catch cues."

OK, the last movie I watched was Control. The story of Ian Curtis singer and sometimes second guitar player for the post punk band Joy Division.
A good movie, I like how it didn't focus on Ian as a pained musician. It was played as a man dealing with a wife and new baby, epilepsy and having two jobs he that drained him (rock band guy, and employment agency drone.) and the affair he was having. I've been a fan of Joy Division for years, and had no idea that Ian had a wife and kid! It makes his suicide less lame, and more tragic.
Good movie, even if you have no idea who Joy Division is.

Last movie I watched was "I am Legend". I was at my house, it was on HBOHD or some shit. It was fuckin awful. It was the first Will Smith movie I've ever seen that I didn't like at all. Usually he picks good movies.

The movie was ok for awhile but then it just got stupid as hell and too many parts made absolutely no sense at all and left me questioning way too much of the movie for me to have enjoyed it.

Problem with Star Trek and Star Wars movies is you cannot ever get an honest review. Most people are biased one way or the other, you either love them or absolutely hate them. I personally fall on the "hate them" side.

It's more of a documentary so I dunno where they get movie from but anyway, it's the last thing I watched. I was in my lounge room.
It's about the origin of christian faith and how American banks had seized world power at the beginning of the 20th century. It tells how these two subjects are related to the wars fought in the 20th and 21st century.
I thought the comparisons made between astrology and religion were pretty cool.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

Yeah, this wasn't bad. It was kind of sad or whatever. I shed a tear, and I'm made of rock, so that's kind of interesting.

Also, I think Cate Blanchett is a pretty good actress.

@Lindros: I agree, Cate Blanchett is a good actress. I also liked that movie.

It was more mature than Superbad by far, which was cool. It was a nice, bittersweet little movie...humorous without being wacky or anything. Then everyone had to fuck it all up by falling in love and shit, fucking assholes.
