Earlier today, I watched Encino Man. It's a decent movie, granted that you miss the first like...20 minutes. The way they lead into the story is just bad.

It's a movie about this highschool kids in the late 80's or early 90's that find a caveman in their back yard when theyre digging to put in a pool. They decide to keep him and kinda take care of him. It's pretty funny in a old 90's movie kinda way.

Worth seeing if there's nothing else on. :P

Watched Taken a few nights ago with the wife. Good action flick. Liam Neeson kicked ass throughout the movie.

I love this picture, it's about a free-thinking art professor teaches conservative 50's Wellesley girls to question their traditional societal roles.

Gran Tarino! Just out now here in Ozland.

A little trailer for u: http://www.thegrantorino.com/
GRAN TORINO BEST MOVIE I'VE SEEN IN A LONG TIME...
So said a man sitting behind me in the theater today who looked about the same age as Clint Eastwood. Mr. Eastwood certainly hit a home run with Gran Torino. The picture expresses themes of tolerance, sacrifice, and mentorship. Eastwood, perhaps not a fan of Ann Coulter, certainly comprehends the tragedy of father absence Coulter's been defending to liberal media outlets. The movie impelled me to self reflect and desire a little more self sacrifice on my part. If everyone followed Eastwood's character in this movie the world would become a better place filled with joy and brotherly love.

The Dark Knight, home DVD, everyone knows what its about, I can watch this over and over.

1. Finally an action director that minimally uses CG only when absolutely needed, not make an entire movie out of it (thanks a lot for that last Indy movie George Lucas).
2. If you haven't seen it because you're not a Batman fan, take my word, you'll love this anyways (but watch Batman Begins first, great first part to this film).

Pineapple Express was the last movie I watched. DVD. Much better than I originally anticipated.

Just finished watching The Watchmen in the comfort of my living room. Not sure if its a film to recommend, Its one of these movies where the narrator dies... oops what do you mean you haven't seen it? hehe.
Anyway that's about all that happens, I wasn't that impressed. Where was the action? Where was the heroism? Superheroes are meant to go about saving people.
I think if your not a BIG comic book fan, this might not be your cup of tea.

A pampered Beverly Hills chihuahua named Chloe (voiced by Drew Barrymore) who, while on vacation in Mexico with her owner Viv's (Jamie Lee Curtis) niece, Rachel (Piper Perabo), gets lost and must rely on her friends to help her get back home before she is caught by a dognapper who wants to ransom her. In the meantime, Papi (voiced by George Lopez), a male chihuahua who is in love with her is in pursuit of her. Papi's master (Manolo Cardona), a handsome young gardener for Viv, slowly develops a romantic interest in Rachel. Chloe befriends a lonely German Shepherd (voiced by Andy Garcia) who travels with her to protect her from the evil Doberman (voiced by Edward James Olmos) who wants to return her and her diamond collar to the dognapper.

If you've got kids and or enjoy watching disney movies then IMO it's worth a watch. It's cute and funny throughout the movie, although it wasn't AS funny as I thought it would be.

I watched Slumdog Millionaire at my house last weekend

I wasn't that impressed by it, I mean it was a good movie but I think with all the hype I expected more. I'd say its worth a watch. (The chick in it is damn Hot)

Just watched Choke at home on DVD from Netflix. Sam Rockwell is fucking great, as always. Kind of hard to explain what the flick is about, as Chuck Palahniuk's stuff kind of defies description. The best I can do is that it's about a guy finding his identity through meaningless sex and getting attention/love by being rescued from choking on purpose. It's a lot tamer than Fight Club, but still pretty original. Pretty quick watching too, only clocked in at about an hour and a half. Anjelica Huston blew me away with her acting, she was in rare form and I'm surprised she wasn't nominated for her work.

All in all, a good recommendation if nothing else than to appreciate originality and Palahniuk's strange brain.

What was the name? Watchmen
Where did you watch it? AMC in North Denver with four friends.
What was it about? A comic book based on an alternate reality.
Was is a good movie/worth watching? Yes, oddly. Despite the fact that I hate most movies and especially hate comic book movies.

Kanzen option for whatever? I like it when women tickle my arms by dragging their finger-nails slowly down them.

OK, don't laugh. My girlfriend rented "The Notebook" two nights ago. One thing was good about this sappy, tear-jerking romance was it, another was other was great.

Good: Rachel McAdams is cute.

Great: I got the fucking of my life after watching it with my girlfriend.

If your girl get turned on by romantic stuff, go for it.

I just watched Basic Instinct, the original the other night, because I have it on DVD and I hadn't seen it in a long while. Still kind of sucks and Jeanne Triplehorn is still crappy.
