Your Thoughts and Opinions Appreciated - give it some REAL thought.
I've dated a few women in my time and there seems to be some consensus among them on what makes a "real-man". That is to say, what a man should be like, do, or have. Some are a matter of personal opinion, while some others would be a consideration of culture or whatever. I've also thought about what it is that makes a real woman - womanly.
So here is a list I've put together - and I'm curious to see what other men and women have to say on the matter. Perhaps both sexs can be enlighted and learn something about what the other sex wants in them and see as making other sex - real men/women.
In no particular order...
Real Men:
1. Can drive both standard and automatic.
2. Own a tool box with tools, and can do basic handyman repairs.
3. Can bench press AT LEAST 150 lbs OR carry their woman over their shoulders.
4. Have at ready and can provide the condom.
5. Can throw a decent; string of insults to their buddies, punch, football/baseball, etc.
6. Make her orgasm first – at least half the time. ‘Offer’ to take the wet-spot.
7. Can throw together breakfast; scrambled eggs and toast for the morning after.
8. Would help a woman with a flat, an old lady, chase a purse snatcher, and respect the women and
children first adage.
9. Do NOT wear pink.
10. Will take one for the team and occasionally be a wingman for his buddy.
Real Women:
1. Will fake ‘it’, if necessary. (Interpretations of ‘it’ will vary with situation)
2. Love children and animals.
3. Know the value of lingerie.
4. Flirt and know it’s a god-given gift to be used.
5. Will give a decent guy a decent chance.
6. Respect and work with/in a man’s limitations and motivations.
7. Defend her man to doubting/skeptic friends and family.
8. Call a man on his bullshit.
9. Indulge or concede on some level to male chauvinistic fantasies.
10. Let her man out at times to be one-of-the-boys.
