Anything by Nick Drake. Pink Moon is his most depressing, but his first album, Five Leaves Left, always makes me well up with its heady nostalgic element.

OMG yes - "In the living years". That is one song I love that brings tears to my eyes. Its not really sad, but the message can help you avoid some serious sadness.
