What does your Username mean?

Some people have unique, cool, weird, etc. usernames. I was wondering what's the meaning if any? Some are obvious but others aren't...

Phenom is a nickname given to me by some hip hop friends of mine back in high school. And "3030" is a bite off of Del the funky Homosapiens' cd "Deltron3030."

phemom: 3030 sounds almost like the Roland TB 303 syntiser used in a lot of dance songs.. It is an synt made to emulate the bass gitar.. but it doesn't come near hahah it sounds like very different

My name.. Diz-X ... It's Dizzy, a lot of my friends called me Dizzy because i sometimes dizzed some people arround, and a acted weird sometimes When is started writting dance music i had to give myself a unique name as an artist, so I made Diz-X... Nice name for trance

mine is pretty simple, i race cars (duh!). as for what kind, i race alphalt circle track. check out www.goelkospeedway.com to see the track i raced at. i raced in the bomber class and the sportsman class. pretty fun stuff. i sucked it up as a sportsman, too much time needed to make it fast. but i did end up winning the points championship in the bomber division. well, i think i patted myself on the back there enough, im done.

i dont want to comment on the first part of my user name, but the last part designates what i look for in places like forum. in the most part it has been just that. thanks Diz-X.

My name is originally an anagram of my old nickname.. which was very silly and I won't be mentioning here - the fun thing is that Rezon , is also, in the bible, the first King of Syria , and an enemy of Israel. Rezon is an old computer game and a nightclub in Germany..
Mero, on the other hand doesn't have any meaning at all.

The story behind the nickname Cobrian:

I used to be a pretty big Anime fan, when I was a bit younger, say around 1994, when I first started using IRC. I also owned a big pile of G.I. Joe comics. Bare with me, it'll get clearer soon.

So, I started to IRC. First I just used my username, which is not worth mentioning here, and besides, it could bring up some ghosts with some experimenting in Google.

Needless to say, I wasn't too happy with it. So I took a personal hero of mine, Captain Cobra, also known as the evil organisation that is the mortal enemy of G.I. Joe troops.

Whoops, looks like that was already taken. So, I tweaked it a bit, and Cobrian Tinander (yeah, I even invented myself a powerful surname) was born. Since IRCnet only allows nicks 9 characters long, I only used my "first name". It has stuck with me ever since, no need to change it. I do have some alternative identities as well, but those are mine to keep, and are not involved in this site...

I've explained the story behind my nick somewhere else on these forums already. but for the fun of it I'll explain it here aswell
I used to love those Camel (cigatette brand) commercials where they would show a camel with burning feet, thrown out of the window of a skyscraper. underneath they wrote "never throw a burning camel out of a window". this one is one of the funniest of them all, but there have been lots of others. Anyway, that's where Camel comes from
the Knight part comes from a childhood dream. I always wanted to be a Knight in shining armor, rescueing the damzle in distress, fighting dragons and the like. (hey.. you were young too you know!). so that's where the Knight came from.
I actually used a diffo nick before I came up with this one, but I needed to know some stuff from ppl and they didn't need to know it was me asking around. so I came up with CamelKnight (fairly quickly I might add ) and started asking around. I found out what I wanted to know (for those interested enough to care...) and afterwards decided to stick with the nick as I liked it more then my old one (which was nothing more then my firstname and the first letter of my surname...). That was about 6 years ago...

Tangled and not very interesting story behind mine. First part is a variation on an obscure literary character (see the novel EXPIRATION DATE if you're really interested). The second is just an addition to make it more than a one-word name.

My usual nickname I don't use here, obviously. It has a much simpler and meaningful pedigree, but might also identify me to some surfers out there. Have to keep my private sex fiendishness private!! heh heh.

I'm just a newbie, so maby you guys aren't interested. But my Spang is the name of the villains (brothers) in the James Bond book "Diamonds Are Forever". But I'm sure you already knew that...
