weight lifters/runners/general athletes....what supplements do you use?(that work)

right now i taking creatine and whey protien powder for my workouts.....pretty basic stuff...


any of you use anything that you know works? most of that shit they sell is garbage......anyone tried that nitric oxide or whatever stuff?

what do you use, and in what way does it give you positive results?


ive got one month to get into the best shape of my life, ill take any help i can get!

ive used ECA-Stack before..used it for about a month lost 8kg doing absolutely nothing, if you use it plus excercise, you can loose alot and have some good gains with weights..

you used to be able to buy it here from the chemist, but now because of its abuse (can do terrible shit too peeps who suffer heart and kidney conditions) and the fact that not all doctors agreed it was safe..

Creatine is generally used when you hit a plateu..generally with weight lifting you hit a point where you can't get any bigger...This is generally when people start using it...but I don't think there is a problem with using it right away.


Also if you are lifting weights you should use amino acids to help heal your muscles quicker.

I have also used Xenadrine with some decent results...but I really don't recommend that or any other fat burner.

I only drank protein shakes because they tasted good.

But I used to eat a lot of craisins, and pasta, and drank a lot of water and gatorade (60 or so 20 oz. bottles every 2-3 weeks or so). Thats all I needed

if you are trying to get "ripped" do not take creatine it will give you a bloated appearance (and Cell-Tech gets a lot of hype, but its loaded with sugar)

one of the best supplements you can take is water ... drink tons of it ... it will actually make you look more ripped ... if you do not drink enought water and let your body get dehydrated, your body wont store the water in your muscle where it is needed but instead store what little water you have under the skin making you look bloated, and your muscles wont be hydrated enough to function maximally during your exercises

i apreciate that.....i drink a ton of water already....but im looking for the supplements that anyone uses....


or all they ALL bullshit? i used to have a pretty good mix going....but i dont even know if they sell the shit anymore


it was: amino acids, bovine colostrum, vanadyl sulfate, and multivitamins. it kicked ass!

I don't speak from experience but just from remembering a few stories of people who were otherwise in exceptional form before entering the military. If you are otherwise in decent shape, your biggest worry about basic training will be things such as shin splints due to the stress of running around with an extra hundred or so pounds on your back. Thus people who could easily run a five minute mile were brought to humiliation because of shin splints. I think you may need to concentrate on that area.

those were probably army guys.....navy guys dont have to carry packs around.....unless im mistaken

i know man, throw in a bananna and some ice and you've got yourself a pretty tasty post-"i just swam 4 miles" drink. mmm...

craisins are also very good, a lot easier to eat through the day (like during class and stuff) than pasta... but i've already made my recomendation.

I am assuming you're doing this for basic...you don't want creatine at all dude...that just bulks you up with water weight...Xenadrine is excellent, you want to slim down (a lot of running, and more endurance than how much you can bench or squat)...Xenadrine and low carb protein bars, I suggest EAS Myoplex...peanut butter and chocolate actually taste good as low carb

creatin: DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. its great if you keep using it, but once u stop, ur back to square one. all it does is put more water in your muscles, thus making them bigger. whey powder is good to gain weight but you have to work out, or you will just gain mass, not muscle mass. the best thing to do is to eat lots of protein (egg whites, etc.) and work out at least every other day.

Please listen to the request - he wants to get big fast. (or he did say best shape - so not sure what you want)

I guarantee gaaaraonteee that if you do this you will see major gains in 10 days (or less)

Each morning take a very large spoon of creatine -

Do three sets of six - three times different exercises for same muscle - heavy enough that by the last set your struggling. Do not DO NOT "throw" the weights ie convulse the body to get the weight up. Lessen the weight and concetrate on form.

do these muscles on the same day -

chest and biceps
shoulders and triceps
back and neck
legs

why??? for isolation purposes.

Ok after that drink your protein shake - I suggest Myostatin. It has all the aminos plus vitamins plus the wonder supp which is supposed to add muscle. If the wonder supp works?? Idk but it has all the rest and is the same price so why not.

Sleep, drink water and eat lots of chicken.


Garonteeed major visible gains in size and noticeable gains in strength.

I use Animal Pak, M-Stak, Stak2, and Nitro. I also use the entire line of MHP products, and my favorite protein is Pro Complex. I also cycle ANAVOL every couple months.

Supplements are a waste of money dude.

Everything your body needs can be aquired through eating real food. Don't waste your money.

If you want to get big, you will need a good exercise program and TIME. Months, years. You can't do it in one month. Unless you use steroids, which are a detriment to your health.

What kind of fitness do you want? Cardio Endurance? Muscular Strength?

You CAN make gains in one month, but you will only scratch the surface of what you are capable of.

Bottom line: Don't waste money on supplements. Just eat a balanced diet and exercise regularly.
