Webhost - Not quite the right forum but it'll do :)

What i'm searching for is a good, free webhost. Now don't go on telling me to do a search on google or create a site on geocities.

I want a good webhost for my online gaming clan (sounds stupid but it's actually quite fun). I need webspace, I know I can't expect 999 MB of free space, however I know a lot of webhost's who offer up to 100 or 200 MB's of space for absolutely FREE.
The host should include all the goodies as possible, eg. PHP, Mysql and CPanel.

If anybody can help me in this matter it would be greatly appreciated. Seems like all I can find on google is just BS, and once you actually find a good free host on page, say 45, it's "temporary down". If you know a host that has all I need and is willing to host it for free, or perhaps even sponsor our clan with a free host please tell me here, as fast as possible, thank you

If you find one, let me know too! My band's website is currently hosted for free by a friend of mine, but I host most of the data on the free webspace I get with my ISP. My band's mp3s and stuff like that are taking up most of that space, and I don't want to run out. Thanks in advance for whatever info you find!

Yeah that's the same problem i'm having. Or well my free space I have from my ISP is in use, I use it for my band (the site sucks and has no big files that need lot's of space) so that's why i'm on a quest to find a good, god damn free host

If you find a free host, it will most likely put ~150 000 pop-ups and several hundred spyware-blocks to your site for the visitors to enjoy with..

It's not very good business to offer things for free that you have to pay for to get in the first place

Servers cost money, bandwidth cost money, personnel cost money, everything costs money these days!

all I have to say to you you (specially Punks), get a GOOD AFFORDABLE host for yourself! the free ones are allways some kind of bullshit!

Agreed with wit_mht.

Isnt it just easier to host youre own server? Easier. and if it goes down you can actually Do someting. My experiense is that what you pay for, you get. And having a free webhost is... well... as you said. Site temporary down... and the pop ups etc etc..

I was looking for a free host becuase it is for a clan, not a persoanl site, therefore I know from experience there are GREAT hosts that will host a site for free. Sort of like a sponsor...

Well I got the clan site up on my free site provided by my ISP and now when I decide which host to choose, i'll get my personal site up on it.
