Where do you guys get your torrents these days? I mean, Piratebay and kickass was shut down, eztv was long ago. There´s no public torrent site, to my knowledge, anymore.
Is it only Invite only sites these days?

yeah but they have been taken over. thats what i read everywhere. they are heavily monitored and several of the proxies are fake sites

You have to worry more about your ISP than anything else, if you are in the US and the end of Net Neutrality has made isp's more determined to stop it all. I get an email from my isp every time someone uses utorrent and downloads anything

I dont, i live in Europe, but they come down pretty heavy on those sites too. but not sure what kind of VPN might be good to use to avoid problems?

I normally use 1337x for torrents but still use eztv for series and yts for movies

I go to torrentz2.is (MBAM blocks .eu (and I haven't found anything that says I should whitelist it) and .me is unreachable). It's a bit unwieldy in that it'll give you anything remotely close to what your looking for or nothing.

Nope, actually downloaded somethings from there yesterday, got the 100 from 1337x but looks like extv is having issues. Yts is still there, awesome dvd copy movies available in 720 and 1080p and a whole bunch of classics as well

Pirate Bay was still down last time I checked. Which is just about daily. I use 1337x as well now. And definitely need a VPN to survive these days

just my 2 cents here....i use rarbg and express vpn. and vuze to d/l the torrents....just saying. and i started on a tsr80 if that is any clue to you that might know or maybe an apple IIe

VPN and a private tracker and PB as a backup. Also Canada doesn't really give a shit about sharing. My first and last warning was from Metallica back in 2000

I think if you're careful, most places don't really care anymore. I haven't had a warning in the US since 2009.
