To the British members..

hey, i was wondering where some cool parts of London are. my friends are heading over there in two weeks and they are worried about not knowing where the clubs are. these kids are in their mid 20's and are crazy when drunk. can someone please respond back with area where they can party at.

there's loads of good clubs/pubs in the big smoke depends on what type of music they are in to?

they're into drum and bass/jungle, metal, indie, and pop

well the best places for metal and indie is a place called Camden which is on the northern line underground, there are loads of clubs but the pubs are best round there, they have loads of live bands and are really good nights, for D&B and jungle you want the "ministry of sound" at elephant and castle in south london.

Your friends should by some nice sweaters



and make a trip to Millwall,there some real nice pubs with friendly guys in.

and whats the slang(street) words for drugs.

forget London if you want a great night out you need to head to Leeds, spec if your into the indie scene.

Try 'Full Tilt' at The Electric Ballroom (Camden) on a Friday night - cheap to get in, starts at 10pm and goes on to 3am - beer is pub prices. They play metal, indie, dance, goth, etc. and you'll see LOTS of girls wearing very few clothes...
Nearest tube station is Camden Town. Keep your belongings close to you in the streets as it can be quite rough.
Ministry Of Sound is good too. 'Heaven' (gay club) in Charing Cross is lovely and you get alot of straight girls there and no competition from other men.
'Slimelight' in Islington is good - indie, metal, punk, goth and dance on a Saturday night only - opens at midnight and closes at 7.30am - nearest tube station is Angel.
