To anyone who knows Amsterdam!

OK guys, and girls I have just received the happy news that I will be relocated in the beginning of next year to Amsterdam, for about half a year! So freakish coincidence I happen to know this place full of people from NL!

So the question to u who knows Amsterdam: what would you recommend to someone whos never been there? best coffee, best bar, best chicks, best grass, best hookers...Not that I do all the mentioned, but doesnt matter, just let me know how to max out on my experience there....Oh and this just might be a good time for me to buy a round of beer to all the WBW crew members and WBW veterans! So be shy at your own loss

Nice that you are gonna live in Amsterdam. I know Amsterdam pretty well. In Amsterdam you have more that 1000 bars. You Can go to the Jordaan (typical Amsterdam) or you can go to the red light district (very buzzy place24 hours a day) When you go to the red light distric don't stand still on one of the bridges. The people who come to you when you are on a bridge want to sell you drugs or they wil fuck you in the ass :-)))

You can go to the Rembrandplein or Leischeplein There are a lot of bars and clubs arround. The best way to transport in Amsterdam is by bike But buy a lock that's more expensive than your bike because in Amsterdam it is a national sport to steal bikes. Don't let you bike 1 minute without a lock than he is gone. Buy a bike from a junky it wil cost you 20 euro. :-))

hmmmm what can i say more, only that i lif in amsterdam north and there you have a few bars thats worthy to tell so you have cafe de bult and cafe blokker on mosplein and cafe de bolle on klaprozenweg , there you can find the people who made the jordaan famouse cause they lif in amsterdam north now you can find there live acts on saturday and sunday.
so enjoy youre stay in amsterdam and maybe you find me on one of these bars cause i do perfomences sometimes in these bars with singin

Ha there is some subway but not in the city central. Amsterdam is build on a foundation of piles. These piles are under see level. But there are busses en trams. When it is late there is no public transport. The only transportation is the taxi. Or illigal taxi called "snorder" Don't go with these guys because they always try to lift you. When you are in Amsterdam you will see that the best way to transport is the bike. Don't come with the car you pay very mutch parking cost. and when you don't pay they give you a wheel trap and it cost you a lot of money.

aint got a car so no probs! but sounds like im gonna need to pay for mucho cabs then!! i dont think anyone bikes at night after the pubs!
